TRU-SPEC 24-7 Series Simply Tactical Cargo Pants

4.0 star rating Great Pants

They are a bit stiff, but only washed twice. Hopefully that changes. Otherwise, great pants.

TRU-SPEC H2O Proof Gen 2 ECWCS Parka

3.0 star rating Size L, Long, Color Black

I've had this Jacket 5 few months now and throughly tested it throughout the U K winter months. My findings are as follows. Positives; It is absolutely waterproof and wind proof. The high collar is a plus on windy days. Lots of pockets in all the right places. Negatives. The main zipper is a big weak point. Mine became difficult to do up after 3 months of daily use due. Some of the bigger pockets have velcro closure. Some of the velcro tabs on my jacket had come unsewen after 3 months. If you decide to buy and zip in the optional fleece liner it renders the snow skirt unusable. I really wanted to like this jacket, but if they go bad after only 3 months I'd be buying one evey year ! If the manufacturer could use a YKK full length front Zipper I'd be willing o pay more and forgive the other shortfalls. With a decent zipper it would get 5 stars from me.

The TRU-SPEC Headquarters

TRU-SPEC’s name stands for “true specifications” and was inspired by the idea of meeting military specifications. Each product is engineered to meet strict standards, ensuring long-lasting performance from any gear branded with the TRU-SPEC name. The TRU-SPEC brand has provided public safety professionals and military personnel with quality, functional apparel since 1996. But its roots in the military and tactical field run much deeper. Its parent company, Atlanco, started as a military surplus distributor in 1950. As surplus supplies started to run out, the company manufactured its own Atlanco brand of tactically inspired clothing and equipment in the 1980s. With TRU-SPEC, the company doubled down on its mission to arm elite operators with the most advanced, reliable equipment and apparel on the market.
