    • Comfort is next to none, but.......

I received these boots and "installed" them on my feet... I say installed, because they are so comfortable, that I didn't want to take them off!! My feet felt better in these boots than being barefooted. With that being said, the durability was without question the worst I've ever owned. Within a month the cloth-like material on the outside of he boot was freying on outside and instep of both boots. After 2 months, the inside mesh-like material was showing. After 3 months the soles in the front of the boots starting coming loose. But I have to say, even after all of the damage, they still are pretty much water proof. I'm not extra rough on my boots, so I'm not sure what caused them to degrade so quickly.... honestly though, I'd probably buy them again simply because these few months were the best of my feets life!

At least a half size too small. Really narrow. Tried them without a sock. Unlaced them completely. Still way too small. No amount of break in would have helped. I wish UA would be more consistent with their sizing.

We're sorry to hear these were too small for you, Randy. If you need any help with a return, please feel free to reach out to our customer relations team. Someone would be happy to help!

      3/2/2016

Pros: I got these boots six months ago. At the time there were limited reviews out there about these so I took a chance and bought them anyway. I was immediately pleased with the product. Very light weight. Feels like your wearing tennis shoes not work boots. Great tread. These work well on all surfaces. As a police officer these have been perfect in all situations: foot pursuits (even on waxed grocery store floors) , K9 tracks (wet Washington state terrain), and standing stationary for longer periods of time (even on concrete). No wear and tear issues. Product has not broken down at all. Cons: I ordered the boot a half a size larger then what I normally wear. It has fit like a glove. Great support. I have narrow feet so if you run wide go a full size larger.

    • boots size is off (rediculous)
      Reviewer: Jay Brown

      2/26/2016

I ordered these boots a size larger than I wear, one size larger was still too small. I returned the boots to order a larger size but was emailed (from tacticalgear.com) that they received the boots in "worn" condition with "no tags" but they would make an exception for me. I returned the boots in the exact condition I received them "without tags". After a phone call they issued me a store credit so I could order a larger size, still waiting on the larger size. I am disappointed that the boots they sent me as new were in "worn condition" by their own definition. Hope the "new" boots they send me are in fact new. I'll update the rating after I receive the new size. Just a warning, order a size or size and a half larger than your normal size.

With much excitement, I tried these on at gander mountain. They are light, but they are definitely sized incorrectly. I typically wear a US 10.5-11 and 44.5 in eu sizing. It took a US 12 for me in this shoe. The colors are off too compared to what's on the computer. The ridge reaper camo is od green in person. It appears dark brown or black on the web sites. The toe box is small too even a full size larger than what I normally wear. I did not buy these after trying them on.

I purchased a size 10 1/2 and compared these boots to a size 10 boot I already had and they are even smaller in size ! I wore them for one day and my toes are just cramped in the front. I normally am a 10. Not sure if I want to exchange these boots for a size 11or just return them all together.

Ricky, so sorry to hear the sizing what not what you were expecting. Please contact our Customer Relations team and we can definitely help take care of this for you!

Again I must commend tacticalgear on their fantastic costumer service because it took me three times before I got the shoe size right, the shoe for me runs small so I had to go from my normal size of 12 to 12.5 however the shoe was curling my big toe after walking in them for a while and still felt somewhat tight and I almost gave up on the shoe but I really liked the design so I contacted tacticalgear and sent them back and ordered a whole size bigger from 12.5 to now 13 and now I have the right size for my feet (go figure) One thing that I must point out is that these boots give you a snug fit and may take a little time to break in to your particular foot but afterward they become more comfortable until they become your go to boot for everyday use. I do recommend that you get better laces because the ones that come with the boots tend to come loose! Other then going up a size and the laces this is a fine boot.

Same positives everyone here are mentioning. I'd only add that they do take a couple days of use to properly break in. Just get it in your normal size and where with normal thickness socks. No need for extra thick socks.

      10/21/2015

I really like these boots. The tread pattern bites on all surfaces and they feel light. I do have a wide foot and initial break in was tight. After my first hike I just stuffed socks really tight in the toes and fronts for a strech to solve that problem. Id buy them again.

5 Stars, great boots. Comfortable, light, waterproof but doesn't build up moisture inside in dry weather. Not bulky at all. They pretty much covered everything on this boot. Easily wearable in public without looking too tactical or out of place which is a big plus. The colors are nicely subdued and blend in well weather in arid or forest type environment. Treading is awesome. I ordered my exact size and wearing a standard thickness Oakley performance wool boot sock the size matched my foot exactly how a boot should. Now, only time and use will tell how they hold up but by the looks and feel so far I think they will hold out.

Although there is a sizing chart that gives your "true size" get your standard shoe size. By the chart I was a 10, I bought an 11 and had to return it because it was too small. Get your regular shoe size and you'll be good. Great show all around

again, the first thing you have to do, is cut away the sides where the tongue attaches, just to get your foot in. the boot is comfortable, but has resistive eyelets when lacing up, and very thin laces. boots cannot be unlaced quickly. this would be a very poor choice as a quick response tactical boot.
