I'm in construction and at 6'2" 240lb , I wear out boots quickly. These boots are the lightest most comfortable footwear I have ever worn, I also have the Nike jungle boot , not as comfortable and heavier . You don't even know your wearing these boots even after 12 hr day doing heavy construction. I bought 2 more pairs on sale .

      4/12/2017

The bot works well if you need to run or ruck. However, be warned that the arches are very high on the insole. If you have flat feet it will tear your arch up. Other than that, blisters don't happen around the heel which is where I would normally get them. They are light, not as rugged as some, but very inexpensive. Suggest changing the insoles with smaller arches.

These boots are terrible. I took a gamble on them on a recommendation from a friend. The soles are thin, so you'll feel it after a few hours. The ankle support is very flimsy. Overall not a fan and would not buy again.

      Reviewer: JB

      3/23/2017

This is a very good looking boot but, for me, that's where the journey ended. The orhtotic insole is paper thin (but you could use some others) my main problem was that I had read some extensive reviews on Amazon and quite a few customers complained of upper eyelets popping out. When I looked inside my pair two of the inner retainers were damaged and ready to blow. Otherwise the fit is relatively good maybe a tad tight , the coyote color is very uniform and the sole is well designed. Upper nylon areas are rather stiff and very thin as is the heel cup but feels like it would be very water resistant. Not to worry the folks here have a no hassle return policy and a great selection of anything else I want so when I get my return I 'll probably re-invest but will try a pair of the Propper boots.

    • Good, but not easy on or off
      Reviewer: CNovak

      3/21/2017

The boot is comfortable and the price is certainly good. Boots are very light and fit true to size. Biggest issue is getting them on or off takes some effort. The tongue is attached all the way up on the collar of the boot and it is very tight to get your foot in and out. If you wore these deployed, you would almost have to sleep in them if there was a need to get them on quickly.

They are super comfortable and when paired with Under Armour socks you have an extremely comfortable combo. Fit is true to size. I normally wear a 10 so I ordered a 10 and they fit perfectly!

Lacing up is a pain with this style of upper eyelets. Also the upper are so flimsy. With my high arches I have to loosen the laces all the way to lower eyelets and then lace the boot back every time. Would have five star rating if had different style of eyelets.

      2/15/2017

I was skeptical of this boot since under armour is a newcomer to military footwear, but the price was half of Oakley and Nike so I figured why not try them. Out of the box they are very comfy compared to traditional issue boots. The heels are somewhat tight and need some break in time. The laces are not very durable, a few times now I have tightened them up and they are ealready fraying. No marches or field time in them yet, but for $75 they will be a good everyday boot.

      2/10/2017

Recently i was given this boot as a gift. At first, I thought the box was empty. This boot feels like it weighs next to nothing, very different from what I'm used to wearing. I plan to wear these in a series of obstacle races-Spartan, Tough Mudder, etc. I've gone on a couple of runs and they feel great. I think they run about 1/2 size larger than other brand of the same size but so far, no problems.

      Reviewer: Bernie Polischuk

      2/8/2017

With the tongue of the boot attached all the way up to the top of the boot, it was somewhat difficult to put the boot on. Could be a little more roomy in the very top opening. Wouldn't mind a couple of hooks replacing the top two eyes. Would make the last tightening effort a little easier. Comfortable right from the get go. Was a little (pleasantly) surprised about this. Very lightweight, hardly know that you have them on. Felt like a good reliable grip, although I never tested them on anything but cement/concrete floors.

I have owned quite a few lightweight boots including the most popular boot, the Nike SFB, and these have been the best so far. They offer great arch support for rucking and running and honestly they feel like a tennis shoe. Breaking them in is not nearly as painful as Nike and a lot of other boots out there. The remarkable thing is that the price is lower than most low end boots even! Great purchase!

Overall it's the lightest and most comfortable duty boots that I've owned. I have had them for over a year and am about to order a new pair. I rotate these boots with my Danner Acadias depending on the type of work. The only downfall of the boots is the toe cuts cut up quite easy and the boot lace rings wore out and are now silver instead of the original black.

      9/3/2016

I first bought the 9.5 because that is what I normally wear. I was about a 27 according to the size chart. I figured I'd play it safe and go with the 27.5, or 9.5. Bad move. They were entirely too big. Returned them and bought the 9. fit perfectly. I would recommend to go by the size chart, or if in between, size down. I also wear thick wool sock. They look and feel are great. I bought these for intense training to prepare for 'the pipeline". I can run, sprint, and do everything I do with normal running shoes. I can definitely feel the arch support. The only thing is that the laces seem to be faulty. They are already cracking and I'm afraid they will break before 3 weeks. Some 550 would work though. 5 star boots!

These fit me perfect in a 11.5m. I have run approximately 30 miles on the trail and walked another 15 miles in them. No knee pain or shin splints. Will update this when I have a couple hundred miles of running on them.

      5/29/2016

I am AD and toggle between field and office use, I have had these boots about 1 month and the fit the needs for both! absolutely love them!!! light, comfortable, sturdy and within regulation best of all. Have even had a few co-workers pick up a pair and they feel the same. The ONLY issue I can say are the laces tend to not stay tight, they have a bit of an elastic touch in them, that may be a factory, I really don't know, but that is all I can say about the functionality of the boot. I don't expect to have them in use longer than a year, so they wear faster than the standard issued sets, however comfort and style are important to me personally, so I don't mind paying for that. Lastly, has nothing to do with functionality, quality or sales, however I do wish they were made in the US... I would be willing to pay more if I knew they were designed, made and sold in the US... personal opinion. I plan on buying another set soon..!

      Reviewer: Evan Sixbey

      5/18/2016

I got these on base for Airborne School and absolutely LOVE THEM! Great if you have medium - high arches! Great support too. The traction is unmatched, like they said. I have yet to have them smell bad after a hot day wearing them, so they could also prevent smelly boots? The only thing I suggest is getting paracord laces. The once that come on the boots are decent, but are beginning to fray after about a week. The images don't do the coyote justice, they are actually decently dark! Pros: Arch Support No smelly feet Very light Good traction support Short break in time Cons: Weak laces

Without a doubt this is the best combat boot I've ever purchased. If you're looking for a boot to get you through a 12 mile ruck march. THIS IS THE BOOT! It has the comfort of a running shoe and the durability of a combat boot. Thank you Under Armour for creating such a great product.

Great boot. Break-in was pretty quick and color went well with ABUs. Perfect fit and it felt like I wasn't wearing a boot at all. The micro-G midsole makes it seem like I'm wearing a running shoe. Treading was ok, but don't expect to climb mountains in them. The traction is suitable for light-medium duty. However, after about 6-8 months of wear (3-5 times a week) the toe began to rip at the point where the toe bends at every step. This is a high wear area, and I just wish they made the toe area a bit more durable. I can't wear them anymore because of boot regs and for my personal safety.

The rating I gave is towards the description that is published. These feel like wides but they aren't. Seen some flaws but these are hand made so flaws are expected however they are comfortable unlike most of the black boots I wore during military formations and exercises. I wore these and they are light and comfortable and at the end of the day my feet feel so much better.

Very comfortable and lightweight boot but needs some work. I have worn them for 3 weeks during my deployment and the paint on the eyelets has already started flaking off; displaying shiny reflective spots. Would hands down be the best lightweight boot I've tried but disappointed in the quality control in the paint UA uses.

Just like everyone else, I was excited for the boots to come out here on TG. I picked them up and was initially impressed. However, like other users have noted, the eyelets' paint flakes off after the lightest of usage, and presents a huge eyesore. Next, I noticed that the boot doesn't like to stay snug over the foot. All of the work I do in tightening up the instep ends up working its way up to the ankle, and my foot feels way too loose in the foot bed. Last, this thing eats shoelaces. The shoelaces are inherently poorly made. The eyelets tear them up. Thankfully Under Armor's customer service is top notch, and they sent a replacement set our without an issue. Unfortunately, that set is shredded now as well. There is so much hype about these boots, but I just can't stay on board with it. I'm very disappointed. Every at bat can't be a home run, and UA struck out on this endeavor.

My first impression was great. They were light and no break-in needed. I bought this pair in partucular because it was one of the first coyote boots available during the change of uniforms. I have had this pair for about 4 months, and I have not worn them for any field exercise or jumps, just going to the office and back home. On the second month I started to noticed that the interior heel portion on my right boot started falling apart. It quickly turned bad as I wore them a few more times just so I can go to work, now I have to go back to my acu uniforms until I can get another pair for daily work. The boots were great while they lasted, they were light and comfortable but the quality is terrible. Definitely not worth that amount of money.

Best boots everrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!! This is one of the best pair of boots I have ever worn. I ordered them on 31 Oct 15 and got them within 4 to 5 days as promised. There's no break in time needed, it conforms right to your feet. Boots are extremely comfortable and one of the lightest boots I've ever worn. Have no complaints about my purchase, anything I wish is that they had Regular, Medium and Wide version available because I thought mines wear slightly big but luckily I had inserts the I forgot to compensate for when purchasing it. All and all it worked out.

A lot of the paint has come off eyelets. I bought the boots in coyote since I am wearing OCP and the coyote has faded out to desert sand color. The boots are really comfortable but this is the second pair of these I have had since September. Once garmont comes out with the coyote color I'll go back to them.

I ordered the boots and have only had it for approximately 3 months. Love the boot! From the comfort as well as the professional look. This past week I noticed a small hole on the front top of the boot. Would be understandable if I would have had them for a long period of time or used them in field conditions. Considering I haven't, I was a little let down by the quality and like of the boot.

      Reviewer: Aaron Morris

      10/19/2015

Upon arrival the boots already had glue on one of the boots leather. After about a week the eyelets were already silver and worn. I wear these boots in an office type environment and can't imagine what they'd be like in an operational unit. You can't even match the eyelet color with the staybrown sold at MCSS so you are stuck with a terrible looking boot that constantly gets pointed out by others for looking like trash. The boots are light which is great. I love the look but Under Armour missed out on quality for the most part with these. I haven't had to paint eyelets since I wore old black boots around 2003. Come on UA, I expected more from a reputable company like yours. Truly a disappointment. Should have stuck with Rocky's.

Purchased the Coyote brown version of this boot to coordinate with the new Army UCP. Boot is much darker than pictured on website. Boot is incredibly light, feels almost like a sneaker/running shoe, breathes well and is easily one of the most comfortable pair of boots I've worn. A warm weather boot - I will purchase a winter pair that offers more insulation and water proof qualities.

      9/7/2015

I've got to give these boots this rating mainly because they are super narrow. Normally when I have pufchased boots in the past I could loosen up the laces and be good to go. Not so much with these. However, if the width was good, I'm confident these boots would be one of the better pairs I've worn. They are extremely light, and the material seems like it would dry quickly. Not too sure how the tread would do in muddy environments, looks like it would get gunked up pretty quickly. The color is good, the coyote is slightly darker than what is pictured.
