Wiley X collage Since 1986, Wiley X started providing shatterproof eyewear for law enforcement agencies and the U.S. Military Special Forces. Over the years, its eye protection has garnered such a positive reputation that its name is now synonymous with ballistic proof shades. Wiley X lenses are generally composed of selenite and polycarbonate; some models can even withstand a shotgun blast from 10 yards away. It's no surprise that its eye protection is standard issue for the FBI, DEA, military Special Forces, Navy SEALs and Army Rangers.   • 5 out of 5 Awesome eye wear... excellent clarity with the rust as well as smoke lenses....gives ample room for sweating without muckking up your glasses.... yet still maintains close enough form fit to not allowe side opening piture ((Near complete coverage)) virtually no distortion that I can tell... Minus- 40Farint.Through 114 Fahrenheit....love em great for hi speed over questionable terrain..... oh yeah very scratch resistant.... the only con I can think of they are difficult to change lenses... I guess you'll have that was a pair of glasses that will damn near stop a bullet....tip use a clean cloth to change out lenses ..5 Star.
