      Arc Tempo Last
Vasque's Arc Tempo last creates an athletic fit that promotes quickness and agility over technical ground. The asymmetrical curve is ideal for people with higher arches and also places your foot in a more powerful position during toe off. This aggressive toe spring facilitates rapid obstacle clearance. The tapered toe box offers adequate room without wasted space. And the medium volume heel fits a wide range of shapes. It's perfect for shorter distances on technical trails.

    About Vasque

Vasque collage While traveling through the European continent in the mid-1960s, William Sweasy realized that the backpacking and hiking craze that had hit there would soon make its way to the United States. Focusing on the path that lay ahead, Sweasy quickly began developing a line of quality mountaineering and hiking boots. His preparation was not in vain. With an extensive selection of men’s and women’s hiking footwear, dedicated nature explorers will find styles tailored for their specific activities. Vasque has come far from its first boot, the Voyageur, and continuously challenges hikers to step out into the next big outdoor adventure.

    • 3 out of 5 These seem like that would be great boots for somebody with a medium arch or flatter foot. I have a pretty high arch, and on my first hike, my feet were pretty unhappy after the first mile. This boot has plenty of toe space, my heels didn't slip at all, and they would probably be great if I bought an insole. I returned them to buy a pair with a little more support for my arches.

    • 4 out of 5 These boots have never given me any blister/arch problems (I have flat feet) on long hikes. They are very exceedingly comfortable. However, I just went on a backpacking trip during which the boots got quite wet. They had trouble drying out, and the toe box material became soft and ripped when I tripped on a root.

    • Great boots!

    • 4 out of 5 You can hike in these from the get-go, no break-in period required. Great fit, keeps feet dry and cool. Medium ankle support worked well on rocky trails. I hike maryland and virginia trails including Billy Goat Trail at Great Falls (incase you need a 'rocky trail' reference point.)

    • 5 out of 5 Needed to replace my hiking boots after many years. Found these Vasque Breeze and read a number of articles and reviews on them. They did not require much break-in time as I expected, felt good right out of the box. I did insert my DownUnder inserts in them after a few test hikes. The real test was 16 miles on the AT in Pennsylvania (AKA Rocksylvania) in the pouring rain. Kept checking for hot spots, none ever developed. Dry as a bone at the end of the day. I am extremely pleased with these boots. So much lighter than my old favorites. Not sure when the water proofing will wear off.

    • 5 out of 5 I have really bad feet - flat, bunions, wide, the works. I got these boots for a trek through the Andes to Machu Piccu. I went on a few hikes and a backpacking trip in NorCal to break them in and then walked on them for about a week in Peru up and down mountains, through mud, creeks, gravel, large rocks, dust, snow, inca ruin steps - basically every possible terrain one could imagine. These boots kept my prone-to-blisters-and-soreness-feet comfortable, blister and black and blue toenail free, and dry (even when fording streams). My friend, who has completely opposite feet than me (narrow, high arches) bought the same boots for this trek and didn't even break her boots in before, but also reported feeling wonderfully comfortable in these boots. Can't go wrong buying these!!

    • 5 out of 5 I bought these very shortly before i went on my hiking trip and i was concerned about not having enough time to break them in. however my 12 hour backpacking per day sessions were filled with fun activities and beautiful scenery and not hot spots, blisters, and moleskin. They kept my feet cool with the vents and dry when we crossed a shallow river! I would recommend these to anyone who needs a great pair of hiking boots.

By empowering them to serve as civic leaders, their service gives them purpose and strengthens their communities.
