Now you don't have to choose between full-featured function and comfort when it comes to high-performance pants. Responding to demand from across the country, Woolrich took the best details of their most popular men's pants and re-engineered the fit for women. The pants include 10 strategically placed multi-use pockets: four flapped pockets on the legs; two front scoop pockets; two rear backpacker pockets; and two welt pockets. The slim flapped utility pockets on each upper thigh can hold whatever you need: cell phone, wallet, etc. Construction is top-quality, with double-needle stitching at critical seams and bar-tacked stress points. The easy-care 100% cotton ripstop fabric is reactive-dyed for fade-resistant color and treated with DuPont™ Teflon® Fabric Protector for a breathable, durable finish that repels both water- and oil-based spills. Side-elastic panels in the waistband ensure freedom of movement and all-day comfort. Machine wash.

flattering and comfortable

Waist hits at true waist (which I like). Legs are relaxed fit. Pockets are deep. Front pockets have plenty of expansion space, back pockets are flat. Look is flattering, not bulky. Fits a curvy figure. Material is mid weight (not as heavy as canvis and not as light as summer hiking pants).

The color is good for outdoor wear, because it doesn't show dirt, but it's darker than shown in the illustration. I'd be happy to buy more of these in a medium grey for fall or in a light stone or beige for summer.
