The Elite Lightweight Operator pants combine outstanding details of both the Elite tactical pants and the current issue ACU (Army Combat Uniform) pants. The designers have paid equal attention to function, comfort, and durability. Ten strategically placed multi-use pockets include front scoop pockets and rear backpacker pockets with wide openings for fast access to gear and large thigh pockets with hook-and-loop flap closures. Two back welt pockets hold wallet or ID. Lower leg pockets have two elastic holders on the outside. Reinforced knees have external openings and hook-and-loop closures for inserting the included kneepads. To ensure comfort and freedom of movement, the pants are generously cut and fitted with elastic panels at waistband sides. Durable construction includes double-needle stitching at critical seams, bar-tacked stress points, heavy-duty brass fly zipper, reinforced belt loops; all-cotton ripstop fabric that's been reactive-dyed for non-fade color; garment-washed for ready-to-wear comfort; and treated with DuPont™ Teflon® Fabric Protector for a breathable, durable finish that repels both water and oil-based spills. Machine wash.
Sizing is way off
These Khaki 30x32 were found to be more like 30x34. Since I always wear these pants by size I made the mistake of taking the tags off and getting them washed before trying and found the off sizing. In fact on closer look I found that not just the size but the actual placement of pockets and knee-pad holders were also spaced different by positioning for this particular 30x32. I therefore believe that these must have been a mislabel-reject. After a few hot wash (against the label and done to induce shrinking) and hot drying it shrank a bit and the rest was taken care of by getting it altered by a tailor. Still the re-positioned for 30x34 knee-pad pocket's top seem goes right across the knee and scrapes it. I love Woolrich LWO pants and its very unfortunate that they are not made anymore but this purchase was definitely a let down. I guess the saving grace was the low closeout price but that was soured by paying for the alteration. I wish they were of the right size as these pants are very comfortable and functional if in the right size.

I know these are 60 dollars and you can try them on in advance because no store carries them, but i took the dive an ordered them. Once they arrived i am deployed so it took a min to get here but they are well worth it much more durable than my last pants and cooler in this heat. After two days i ordered 3 more pair. Also the other reveiws are right order a little big for your size they do run a little small
Some of the most durable pants I own

I've been hooked on pants since my first pair of Proppers to meet job requirement to carry a number of tools but also maintain a khaki dress code. These pants are the most comfortable I've worn, other brands I've tried include Propper, 5.11, and Tru-Spec. The combination of pockets, utility ring and comfort is unsurpassed. I wore these pants for over a week (yes a little extreme, but they seemed to resist dust and hadn't developed any undue odors even to the last day). Most of my pants if worn even a couple days (my job is mostly walking around, nothing that really makes one break a sweat) begin to become uncomfortable and rub in all the wrong places, these pants were as comfortable the last day as they were the first.
Great loose, comfortable fitting pants

I have had a tough time finding cargo pants that fit right. I am 6ft 4in tall, weigh 230 lb, have a 36in waist, and 30in thighs and finding pants with legs that are not built for guys with chicken legs is most challenging for me. I ordered the pants in a 38in waist because I knew it had elastic and they are a little big but very comfortable. I have yet to find a more comfortable tactical pant. I havent had them very long so I cant speak for their durability yet but the quality is top notch for sure. Hope this helps folks that are hard to fit like me.
Very comfortable, excellent quality

so many useful pockets

These are pretty nice pants, great for IDPA shooting with the built-in kneepads. They are essentially a civilian ACU pant with some elastic keepers added, and a reinforced crotch area. Since ACUs are know for having the crotches blow out regularly, good upgrade. The material is just slightly heavier than ACUs, but the pockets and fit are identical. Some of the belt loops are wider, which is nice, but some of them are skinny little things like ACUs. Overall, if you have worn Army ACUs and like them, this is the civilian equivalent. I would buy another pair. I would have given 5 stars but I personally like a gusseted crotch for squatting and sitting, however there is enough room in these and the reinforcement means you can squat without them ripping apart.
A Mean Set of Trousers
Very comfortable and very functional. These are probably the best tac pants I've ever bought.
These are the most comfortable pants I have every owned. There are lots of useful and well designed pockets. The material is very soft. I would love to see these offered in more colors...maybe dark brown and charcoal gray. Don't hesitate to buy.
Just what I've been searching for...
Searched a lot of stores for the perfect, light weight product with lots of pockets. This was it. Fits true to size. It's comfortable and has a great color.
Best pants bar none
This is the best pant hands down for inhospitable conditions. Lightweight, durable, with a practical cut and fit that is designed for the person who really needs a pant that works. Excellent pocket lay out. Sharp enough for casual business. If you need a pant that works for you and doesn't bind grab or wrestle with you as you wear it - these are those pants. Any environment.
Nice look, fit, and construction. The pocket layout is excellent. I don't know what else to say. They are exactly as advertised. Quality product.
not really light
Heavyweight, but well-made.
Comfortable even with a IWB holster. They look like they can withstand any type of work. Enough pockets to hide a small family. Will be purchasing more in the near future. Will look into buying some for my wife if available.
Really, really awesome!
I bought these and the pants at the same time. They are both built with a level of detail that sets them apart from your average BDU. I am sending the elite tac pants back because I don't like the pocket layout as much as the LW operator pants. They fit true to size and are very comfortable. I have only worn them for a few weeks but love em! They have pockets and webbing to hold all my kit (I especially love the rear pockets.) They are roomy enough to move but not too baggy to look good. Lastly, my girl thinks they look good.
