Featuring SBM and climate comfort protection by Gore-Tex, Altama partnered with Michelin, the unrivaled expert in rubber and tread design, to equip our boots with highly advanced outsoles. The Apex SBM is built in multiple layers of Gore-Tex protection. The Gore- Tex Extended Comfort System fully lines the boot in highly breathable, ultra thin, complete waterproof protection, while the brand new material, Thermium, preserves heat in colder environments and releases heat and sweat in warmer environments.

  • TruFit sizing - allows total fit customization for each foot by the addition or removal of TruFit spacers under the footbed
  • Fleshout perforated cowhide leather and textile upper for durability and breathability
  • Integrated textile loop lacing system
  • Gusseted tongue keeps dirt and debris out
  • Padded collar for added comfort
  • Triple bonded nylon thread used in every stitch for durability
  • Gore-Tex Pearl waterproof liner for superior protection
  • Gore-Tex Thermium insulation lining over toes to lock in warmth zones over toes in frigid conditions
