The 8" Striker Torrent GTX 400G is one of the hardest working boots on the market. Danner has engineered this boot to perform in the harshest climates, while still maintaining a comfortable fit and responsive step. The unique Danner TFX-8 platform promotes athletic flexibility, a stable stride and maximum boot durability. The Vibram Striker Torrent outsole can handle frigid temperatures without losing traction on uneven, rocky or slippery surfaces. The high-abrasion EVA midsole provides long-lasting cushioning throughout the foot, and the cushioned polyurethane footbed delivers added comfort for long periods of wear. There is a waterproof GORE-TEX lining to prevent water from entering the boot, as well as 400 grams of Thinsulate Ultra insulation, which promotes superior heat retention and keeps feet warm in the coldest conditions. With a speed lace system for optimal foot security, this is an advanced cold-weather option for any modern tactical operator.
