I was really scared taking a risk on these boots because they were on sale but OH Man was it worth it! These boots so comfortable and It doesn’t take that long to break it in. The T8 compare to my rocky are way lighter, looks good and doesn’t hurt my feet while breaking them in.

I love these boots, I bought them based on a few people recommendation after completing phase 1 of an Army school. My issues boots are a 7.5 extra wide, but my running shoes rage from a 9-10.5. I took a guess and orders a 9.5 wide and they are perfect!! I’ve worn them multiple times to “break them in” and there has been no need, they fit like a brand new pair of tennis shoes. *my only complaint is the length of the laces. I have to wrap them around my ankle 3 times before I can tuck them in and not have laces floating around my boot. I will have to buy shorter laces so I can put them on faster (a critical task in officer candidate school)

I would highly recommend getting a half size up! I am a 10 in the T8 Bifildas however the NFS were a bit tight and half size to short. Had to reorder for a 10.5. The boots are very light and already feel broken in, no complaints.

I wish they were available back when I was active duty but they probably wouldn't last out in the boonies. But still they are very comfortable and easy on the feet, so much so I have two pair.

Super lightweight with a durable sole (unlike the Bates Lites for the USMC). Bought 2 pair to break in for Selection and I am satisfied with my choice. Under load, the heels ran hot after a 16 miler (asphalt and cross country) due to being new. Sore for a couple of days but the calluses set in as the body does. Easily took :15 off per mile just by making the switch. The best balance of weight to support I’ve ever seen without compromising mission accomplishment. Strongly recommend for those thinking about going to Manland.

By far the best pair I've had since the eight year I've been in service, even better than the overrated Nike's. They'er very light weight, supportive, flexible and extremely comfortable. I love how the lace system works where once you adjust them to lace it up, there's little play in the laces running loose before making your knot.. hands down amazing, I will be purchasing another pair in a week or so.

I put these boots on right out of the box. They looked great and felt great but I wanted to test them. Went out in the morning with 40+lbs ruck with a second pair of shoes just in case. I did 12 miles in the rain. Running and walking. I had one pair of compression socks on. No problems. I did not have to change shoes. I continued the wear them the rest of the day. No problems they dried very quickly. Only one day with over 22000 steps. So we will see how they last. Only negative was the roller guides 5 lases up. I'm not sure what good they are. Very happy overall.

      1/21/2018

At first the boot was great. After about 50 miles of training rucks the midsole began to break down, causing me to overpronate. It didn’t lead to injury, but it definitely could over time. The way the sole is designed, it puts a lot of demand on the medial side of the heel. The foam there is not dense enough to support it. I really like the boot, but they’re done after a couple months of hard use. I wish I could upload pics to give visual reference.

So, I was hesitant on which boot to order that is AR 670-1 compliant so I did tons of research. The NFS model was repeatedly mentioned as comfortable, durable and true to size. It came in earlier than expected, which was cool. Tried them on and for the first 10 seconds I thought they were tight. Left them on, went to a store down the street for a bit and walked around in them for about 1 hour. To my surprise, they were not tight at all but were simply snug to my feet. The very next day I wore them to work all day, then ran home in them. Yes, ran in them for about 6 miles. NO HOT SPOTS. NO BLISTERS. SUPER COMFORTABLE! If you're looking for boots and haven't ordered these, you are missing out.

I am training for long rucks, and the boot has been super comfortable. I wear a 14 and the boot fits like it should. I did get a boost on the back of my heel on a ruck, but I feel, that should be expected when wearing boots in. I had a blister pack handy before I started. These boots look great as well. I would definitely buy them again! We will see how many miles I can put on them.

Boots are super comfortable for all day wear. Got wide for my flat feet, work great! Little to no break in time. Did 10k ruck march and felt wonderful, no issues. The NFS souls plus lightweight boot are great for running/rucking. As an added bonus, they are some of the darkest coyote-brown boots I've seen and look perfect with new OCP! I couldn't be more satisfied with this boot, and the great price and service!

    • Fantastic Boot
      Reviewer: Jarrod H.

      5/14/2017

It's an awesome boot. The traction on the boot is phenomenal, I mean top notch. When your foot is settled you feel locked in and gripped around the ankle as well the toe area. Your foot is a little off the ground, think basic issue Army boots but not as dramatic. I wear a size 9 in Oakley SI boots (both the old and new lighter assualt model) , Rocky S2V Goretex, Nike boots (both old and new models) Rocky CT4 boots, Danner Goretex boots...and I wear a size 9 in these. Now I like a snug boot, and people have mixed opinions about that but as long as you're wearing good socks and lacing appropriately for the situation you can wear these TTS. Just got them, but some of the boys have had these for years and they love them. If you're looking for a good jump boot then these won't steer you wrong. If you're planning on doing weird stuff in foreign lands these will take care of you too. Definitely worth the buy.

      4/14/2017

I've had these for almost two weeks and from then to now they are still a great boot. The quality of leather is top of the line and the weight is honestly almost unnoticeable which is why I bought them. Like I said I've only had these for about two weeks so I'm not to sure about the durability of these and how the tread will hold up after time. The only way I could see this boot getting any better is if they started sewing the sole instead of only using glue. Again great lightweight boot definitely worth the asking price!

I wanted a pair of boots that I could wear to the office but then go out on a ruck march or backpacking on my days off. These boots fit the bill perfectly. As comfortable as the nike sfb's maybe more but far more support and strenth in the boots. The only down side was yes as other reviews mentioned go a half size bigger then your tennis shoe size. I also went with a wide because I'm border line between regular and wides and they fit great. The regulars were just a tad to skinny.

      Reviewer: Joey W

      3/15/2015

The boots are legit, super light, and last hold together way better than Bates lights, just make sure you get them at least a half size bigger than normal. I normally wear a 10.5 and when i got them in the mail i couldn't get my right boot on. So I'd go at least a half size bigger if not a full size.
