Following the arrival of the original Operational Camouflage Pattern uniform for the Army and Air Force, hot weather OCP uniforms were developed for wear in hot or humid conditions. Constructed from a 57% nylon / 43% cotton blend, the improved hot weather combat uniform (IHWCU) is lighter, softer and more breathable than the original uniform set. Designed to dry quickly and perform better in the heat, these Army summer uniform pants and coat offer top-level comfort in arid environments.
