A well made quality bag. It should last me an eternity. That said I wish it had more compartments for storage. Especially in the main middle part, but I can add pouches to the front and sides. Even with the minor draw backs this bag suites my needs as an EDC, get home and vehicle bag. I'm quite pleased.

It's a nice pack, but really small. If this was not a clearance item I would send it back and buy a Vulture 2 instead

After owning several Maxpedition products, this is my second backpack purchase. The first I bought for my wife as an everyday duty gear pack. It’s still going strong after 8 months of use. Now for the Condor. Although I was hoping that it was a bit larger and that I wish the main compartment was able to clamshell all the way open, I purchased it knowing this beforehand. To be fair, I purchased this on sale and for that price I was willing to give up a couple amenities. I have only used this twice so far, but I can already tell that this piece of gear will hold up to Maxpedition’s quality standards! The zippers are of the highest quality as is the workmanship! At 48 years young, I don’t doubt that this Condor will do everything I ask it to for the rest of my life! Purchase with confidence!

I've had a Maxpediton Bag For Well Over A Decade. The thing still looks brand new. However, I saw one on sale and couldn't resist. I bought this because it's a bigger than the one I have and easy to bring on a plane and holds a couple days worth of stuff. Another great product I love it!

Typical maxpedition quality I’ve come to expect. Worth it to pay a little more (but just wait for a sale) for something that’s going to last. Quality is remembered when price is forgotten! I have several Maxpedition bags. None of them gets babied and they’ve all held up! Such rugged quality that the only down side is they take a while to break in. The Condor II is a little smaller than it appears but it still swallows an incredible amount of gear. I use it as a day pack and range bag and I haven’t been disappointed. Just pay attention to the size and be sure it will accommodate what you need and you won’t go wrong.

The Maxpedition Condor-II pack is a great all-around use pack. I bought mine to use as an emergency go-to container for carrying items that might be needed if I am confronted with being stranded due to inclement weather or other calamity while traveling. It is rugged and well made. No "buyer's remorse" here.

    • Strong gear like all Maxpedition products.

This was a good purchase for the sale price for Maxpedition gear. Full price might have been a bridge too far for a bag of this size and design. This pack seems like it should be a bit larger. All Maxpedition gear is rugged and well made - That is for certain. Where I find a few shortfalls that cost this pack a Five Star rating lies primarily with the dated design in some areas. 1. The organization for this pack is a bit spartan. I would like to see a few more zip pockets or velcro closures to keep things in place. 2. The shoulder straps could use some advanced padding for manage occasional heavier loads. The strap padding does not seem to have changed much since I purchased my first generation Falcon pack in 2007 (which is still serviceable and useful after years of hard use despite should strap compression and deterioration). 3. Why are we still making packs without built in strap keepers? Lets get this shortfall fixed for all Maxpedition packs. 4. The built in bottom lashing straps are a great idea but I thought that the straps were a bit short in usable length. 5. There is no internal frame sheet/card to help keep the bag's shape and stability under hard use/hevay loads. I would like the option to keep or remove such a framing compliment. Overall, this is a good quality pack that will last for years under hard use. If you can get this pack on sale or cleatance, I recommend that you pick one up - especially if you favor Maxpedition-designed gear. I am glad I have the pack and will definitely find some heavy uses for it where other competing packs simply cannot make the grade. Thank you.
