Applying Maxpedition's design philosophy to the highest quality steel, they created the Medium Short Clip Point Fixed Blade Knife. Destined for a life of hard use, this knife has been engineered for maximum function, durability and ergonomics. Maxpedition used a D2 tool steel, double tempered, with an industrial hard chrome plating over matte bead blast to build the tough blade. The rugged nylon handle employs smooth curves that reflect the human hand; grip strength comes from a good fit rather than an aggressive texture. Excess weight and extraneous features have been removed. Less is, often times more.

- High carbon D2 tool steel double tempered and cryogenically treated to 50-60HRc
- D2 offers excellent wear and abrasion resistance, due to large volumes of carbides in the microstructure
- Full height flat grind with 1" curved choil
- Convex sharpening for strong edge
- Industrial hard chrome plating to 1 mil (0.001") over matte bead blast
- Hidden full tang with 4 keys and 2 thru holes for secure integration with molded handle
- Ergonomic overmolded nylon grip with non-slip EDM texturing
- Thong hole sized to allow 1" ballistic webbing to pass through
- Included Kydex belt sheath with dual retention lips, stainless steel rivets and lashing holes designed to fit 550 paracord
- Sheath weighs 3 ounces
