Solid Shell
Has everything you need for an every day all weather shell. Breathes pretty well I like the OD green color and fit is pretty good. I would say it runs a tad large if you like more of an athletic fit. But still pretty true to size I wouldn’t recommend going a size smaller unless you like a tighter fit.

First Rate Rain Shell

This is my second one of these Allies Microgravity jackets. I lost the first one somehow, it liked it enough that I gonad to buy a replacement! GREAT rain shell — extremely lightweight and very waterproof.

Water proof and silent Waterproof and Quiet

I have yet to use the jacket mountaineering but used it over 5 days backcountry skiing. The vents are great for dumping excess heat. What really stands out is the material. It has an almost suede feel and does have the typically sound and crinkle most 3L jackets have. The temperature we in the low 20s and I wore a baselayers and light midlayer under and had no issues warmth-wise. So far I haven't found any drawbacks. I did order an XL to be able to conceal kit and it fit well as 6'2" 200lbs.

MISREPRESENTED AS BEING WARMER THAN IT IS
8 months ago
I think this product was misrepresented in description as being for colder temperatures than it actually will handle. Not bad I suppose if you layer and it’s not bitter cold but I wanted something you could put on and. wear even just to take the trashcan down to the street. It’s expensive for a raincoat/jacket. I’m doubting if I ever trust this company again
