Propper takes decades of uniform manufacturing experience and applies it to the legendary Battle Dress Uniform (BDU) pants. These trousers feature the classic six-pocket configuration built in a 65% polyester / 35% cotton ripstop fabric blend. With a guaranteed 11 stitches per inch, a tear-resistant weave and double-reinforced seat and knees, this is a garment made to withstand whatever you throw at it. Other battle-tested features include an adjustable waistband, bellows pockets with drain holes and fused, knotted and tacked nylon drawstring leg closures. Propper BDU pants are available in multiple colors and camouflage patterns so there's sure to be a pair qualified for your mission.

  It's pretty good fitting and comftrable but altough I don't like the button's as a zipper specailly when going to the bathroom it's a pain in the put to deal with the button zipper so I rather not really on the button.

  Looked at the insulated BDU pants but the price range was way out of sight. Need to be affordable but not cheap and cold. Just need to bring the price down for the cold weather areas

  I bought these pants for my EMT uniform and they're great so far. I've had them for a few weeks now, and I don't have any complaints against them. The only thing I'll say is that my pants size, regular short, is still a bit too baggy on me, and I have a 29-inch inseam. But they still look very professional on me.

  These are the go to pants for the Sea of Blue. The cargo pockets are a perfect size for handling odd size objects i.e.compass, detonator, extra clips, grape soda, etc. Hold up well when kitted out with H-Harness % Battle belt or just walking around MARS Industries latest sales pitch.

  I like these pants. Great price. Good fit and the length was good for my tall height. The only reason that I did not give them five stars was because I had gotten used to the stain-resistance, wrinkle-resistance and shrink-resistance of the Propper tactical pants. As advertised, these pants don’t have those features, but would have made them a true five star purchase.

  I ordered 4 pair of these pants. Each pair fits different. Two pair are so tight in the waist they aren't even able to be worn. One pair the waist is perfect but the legs are tapered so tight they won't fit over my boots. The last pair has a leg seam that is crooked and almost runs over my knee. I wouldn't recommend these pants.

  This is the second pair that I have purchased for my husband. He loves them. I had bought a pair of pants that looked liked these from a different company because they were cheaper. He HATED them. They were not of the same quality. I've learned my lesson.... only buy BDU pants from Tactical Gear.

  I wear these as part of my work uniform as a vending technician. They are comfortable, long wearing and the color takes a long time to fade (years, not my first pair). I use the side cargo pockets to keep from sitting on my wallet and keys as I spend most of my time driving.

  Great pants to get. I have 4 pair. 2 FG and 2 AU. Only thing I noticed is that the color pattern seems to fade. I compared used pair to a new unwashed pair and big difference. Guess that is with all the A-TAC stuff.

I originally ordered the wrong size (after reading they run a little large) contacted them (by email) got a response an hour later saying they would change my size to the one I asked. Note these are button fly. But really happy with them, will order more.

  Well made. True to size. The color is a soft grey not that industrial looking grey. Keep in mind it's a ripstop material. You have size adjusters on both sides of the waist. If you want a more snug feeling, I suggest you get a size smaller.

  I am a Fat Guy 52/32 and as such I am hard to Fit. I now have Black, Blue, Four in Olive, Brown and two Camo of the BDU Cargo Pants after 62 Years I have stopped wearing Blue Jeans altogether Much prefer the comfort of the Rip stop cargo pants. Can't find them in any Store, Most Online don't Fit. I can order from here and know what I want I get

  The Propper BDU pant is top quality with the fit I expect. I made the mistake of purchasing another brand of BDU pants from someplace other than Tactical Gear because they had what seemed to be a lower price. Never again! The items were of inferior quality and apparently they also skimped on materials because the items were too small! 'Tis a true saying: "You get what you pay for".

  Heavier fabric with this mix. All seams were good and tight. No defects noticed. Some color lightening after first wash. Still very dark navy. Fly buttons could be better reinforced... the ripstop is a nice fabric.

  I ordered what waist size and length I usually am in pants....what I got were some baggy and long bdu pants. Definitely order a size down if you want then to be more fitting. The ones I got aren't so baggy and long that I will return them, but I will order a size down and keep the bigger ones as backup. Im 5'9, 155 pounds, and typically wear a 32 waist, 30 length and I ordered the medium regular. A small regular would have been better.cothrr than that, they are crazy durable and comfortable.

  Very durable, last for years, don't fade on the first washing. I ordered the ATACS FG and AU design and they work great for hunting and bird watching. My wife wants a set for herself but unfortunately Propper doesn't make these patterns in women's sizes. That's too bad as many other ladies might be partial to those and other patterns.

  I look forward to years of use. I have 2 pair from 1996 that still new so if these hold up half as long, it will be well worth the price of admission. Only thing; the buttons of the fly tend to fall off very quickly from weak thread. So I reinforce them day one and never think about it again.

  The quality of construction and material seems top notch. I typically wear a 38X30 and have a little break at the cuff. I ordered a L/S because I want to tie the legs without a lot of blousing at the ankles. The length was perfect but they are a little more snug around the waist than I want. Unfortunately there is no Short available when I go to the XL. That's ok. I need to loose some weight anyway.

  Great quality pants and great value! Were purchased for work pants, but looks great on the weekend with a casual shirt. I am 6'4", 200+ lbs., so it has been hard trying to find the perfect pants. These pants are cut perfect in the buttock and thigh if you have to do a lot of stooping and bending on the job, or if you just need extra room in those areas. Fabric is very durable, just the right weight, but not extremely heavy, which is why they are sooooo comfortable for 8 hours of constant stooping and bending. My go-to pants for work or casual, year-round. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Thanks Tactical Gear!

  I bought two pairs of these. They fit great and survive wear and tear. Only problem I have with them is within two weeks of wearing them the top button in each pair has been torn off. Only by unbuttoning the pants to take them on and off. I fix the issue by wearing a belt. However its rather obnoxious when it happens to both pairs.

  Ordered 30 length. Received 32 but no problem. Easy to take up. Otherwise, good fit. Nice, lightweight material that needs very little ironing.

  I was in the Army for years, now work security at a college...and the pants remind me of the military BDUs...very, very comfortable and easy to move around in, adjustable waist, which is great for women that happen to have to wear men's pants! So, I am very satisfied with the product, will, and already have, ordered from y'all again, and I will also recommend you to not only friends but to our director of Campus Safety about maybe ordering fro all of our officers!

  I have been buying these pants for many years and the quality is slipping ever so slightly. The quality of the pants material in general and particularly the thread for sewing the buttons has gone down hill. I really like these pants and wish Propper would put 50 cents back into the materials and manufacturing to raise quality back to where it was.

  The look is ok. I rather have tighter and lower raised around the waist. Makes me feel like an old man with my pants up to my nipples. And what is up with button fly...?! Just put a zipper. Also if the pattern were similar to a 5.11 Stryker pants, holy moly this would the pants to get. I would but 20 of them. I have numerous 5.11 stryker pants and man they are a better fit. Proper BdU pants can do without the seat patch. What's up with that. I don't ride a tractor in these. Anyways. I gonna give them a run for it. But I will go get them altered so they are not as baggy. For the price, smokes who can beat that. I wish I was desgining them I would do it so different and have a good look to them. This way they can be BDU on some days and a Stryker look on other day. Proper I take my royalties later. Look me up.

  Perfect fit. These are button fly and button pockets, old school with no velcro noises when opening! I prefer a zipper fly though. Seems noone makes a combo.

  I wish that the BDU pants were this comfortable when I worked in Corrections. They are very comfortable although the button up fly took a little getting use to. I do plan to buy a couple more pairs of the BDU Pants.

  I bought these for work where I do heavy industrial maintenance. I had worn all the other BDUs threadbare that I had left after I got out of the Army and wanted more because of the comfort and cargo pockets and I felt the price was right with a 15% coupon. These felt really well made and durable. Unfortunately for me I have to weld on the job and the polyester content in these may have been an issue with melting so I have returned them. I am considering the poly/cotton twill material in the future. I would recommend these for almost any application as they do seem to be really well made.

  I was a little disappointed in the difficulty of buttoning and unbuttoning the waist fasteners. The button holes were too small and that created a difficult task of unbuttoning the waist band and pockets. With some wear they might get better. I don't know if I will buy another pair.

  I'm so happy with these pants. I've been wanting a pair of "tactical pants" but none of the other manufacturers offer tall or 36 inseam. These fit great, look great... nice material, ripstop is tuff stuff. They are lightweight and will be great in warmer weather. Tactical Gear alway has great products are even better prices, check em out when you need quality items. Fast..

  If you try to find my earlier review of this item Dark Grey RipStop BDU's, you'd have to go back a way. I had purchased four pair to wear for work (I shoot video for legal cases (depositions mostly) and I present video in court). Since I have to crawl around on the courtroom floor to connect my equipment and control everything, I need solidly made pants... these do the trick nicely! They lasted me a very long time, and are still serviceable, but after a number of years (yes, years), they are starting to show some wear, so I am updating my work pants with new versions of them. I will just rotate my older ones out to non work wear. For non work, I actually prefer the camo version of urban woodland, but that is not made anymore (Genuine Gear has a version - RipStop too), but I prefer the main Propper line. With that, I decided to move to the Digital Urban Subdued ACU, which I will review on its own. I love my dark grey ripstop BDU's... fantastic product.

  Great material and fit! Runs true to size with the "regular" just a tiny bit long for a 30" inseam. Lots of room for a base layer when it's cold and airy comfort when it's warm. Hasn't held any stains so far.

  They are a great made product. The only problem is that those of us that were in the military are used to calling them either Sumer or Winter BDUs. These are Sumer, so not as warm as the Winter set. I just wish they would state which set they are.

  I noticed that people are noticing these pants when I wear them. I even had a person come up and ask where I got them. I told him at Tactical Gear. Everyone has woodland which stands out like a sore thumb. These are so natural looking and blend in very well and less noticeable than other camo. In other words they don't stand out like a target. I am ordering the AU pants and FG shirt as well.

  Pants are very well made and the waist size was on point. I thought I might need the extra long but I could have done with regulars. The crotch all the way up to about mid buttox as well as the kness have an extra layer of fabric for long term wear and durability! I am very pleased with my purchase and will make these my go to pants of choice.

  Out of the box, the fabric is stiff. Not sure how they will hold up or soften up. Colors are good, looks like good stitching throughout. Haven't worn them yet, but may need to wash them first to 'soften' them up a bit.

  I've worn Army Surplus BDUs / cargo pants for 30 years for a variety of reasons. I love primitive camping, hiking and anything that keeps me outdoors and the style is perfect (love the pockets) and the durability is important to me. But these pants are overwhelmingly higher quality than what I'd worn previously. Very solid construction and a slightly thicker but still very comfortable material. After wearing my first pair for a few days I immediately ordered two more. Doing business with the vendor was simple, the price was very good (especially considering the quality) and both shipments arrived in a timely fashion. Because these pants are so durable I doubt I'll be buying more for a while but I'll be coming back to Tactical Gear for other products.

  Well made, great price, very durable. Sizing seemed to run slightly larger than expected, but this is not a problem for me because usually my purchases go the other way, things end up being smaller than expected. The waist does have adjustment straps which is nice, and gives some room for error if you order bigger than normal like I did. Very happy, and will recommend to everyone!

  I have a huge problem with the fit of these pants. I first ordered a medium that was too small. I then got a large and the things are too huge. Expand your size selections!

  I've been buying Propper BDU ripstop pants for 15 years. They are tough, dependable, practical and faily good looking. The ripstop fabric is fairly thin, which means If they get wet they dry out quickly. But, that fabric is still very tough. If they get puntured they don't start fraying. Best of all they've got cargo pockets with buttons, not velcro. Every time velcro goes in the dryer it comes out harder, stiffer and sharper. Buttons are better. Propper gives you the best pants for the money.

  The olive color pants do have some issues with the stitching on the pockets. They were sown too far making almost impossible to get your hand in. Exchanged the pants for another pair. Found the new ones to be perfect in every way. I would still highly recommend these. pants. 4 stars due to having to exchange them is all.

  I have worn the same pair, for almost three years, for camping, hiking, and yard work. They are very durable and extremely comfortable, however, I ordered a pair the sizing chart said would fit, but had to return them because they were too big. they let me return them with no problem and didn't charge me extra shipping. I ordered the next pair down and they were still a little big (I am a 5'10" 140 lb female) but I made it work. I will be ordering another pair soon.

  I bought these for the hubby to wear when he goes to the range and he loves them. The material is almost if not exactly like his acu's, very comfy, lots of leg room. Good use of pockets. They are alittle snug at the pelvis area and the buttons buckle alittle but nothing to say that I'd retur them for that reason. The pros def outweigh that lil detail. Very happy with them, he says he would even wear these black pants as a casual wear to go out.

  i am in warzone and i order from tactical gear which propper is a supplier of their business. tactical has a good return policy but ive never had to use it. my orders are so fast here. within 2 weeks i have my gear and their products are the best and very reasonable. im about to order my second supply in 3 weeks from them.

  I purchased a pair of Propper lightweight tactical pants 34x34. When I received them they were actually 32x34 even though the packaging said 34x34. I called customer service to explain the problem. They said size problems are between me and the vendor and that they do not guaranteed proper sizings regardless of the label. So, I or the vendor must pay all the postage w/r to returning the pants. Propper did not appear to care and actually was not all that pleasant to deal with. So, my recommendation is NEVER BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM PROPPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  I'm sorry to say I had to send the pants back. I was not happy with with the way the fly would not lay down flat, it seemed like the material was pulling across the front which made the buttons kind of pull apart. They had a strange feel to them when I had them on. Just a side note, it would have been nice to not have to pay 13.00 to ship them back.

  well made and conceived product unless you plan to wear loaded duty belt. belt loops are too narrow and waist does not have enough support to work well with full size sidearm, flashlight, extra mags, etc. it just didn't feel right to me compared to my normal 5.11's

  Propper in my humble opinion makes the best quality Bdu pants on the market. They are 2nd to none! The material and the stitching are made to last ! Not to talk bad about the other companies,but you can`t the way they fit. The way they`re cut is about as close to perfect as you can get ! I have a hard time finding pants that fit right. When I buy Bdu`s. It`s Propper or nothing !

  I am a big dude. Shopping around and came across these BDU's because they offered my size. Gave them a try and glad I did. Size is as described - waist and length. Material is great. Plenty of leg, crotch, and seat of the pants room. Some on here have complained about the short tie strings at the bottom of the legs but I find them perfect in not stepping all over them if Not Tied up during casual wear. This would be a perfect BDU pant if it was zipper fly. All my life I just haven't liked the button fly but had to put up with it because I love BDU pants. One of the best things these BDU's have going for them that no one really mentions is the 'back pockets'; the back pickets are slightly of to the side of the back of the pant so you do not have to reach so far around getting your bill fold/other items out of the button up pocket. Very nice to have the back pocket like that in my opinion. I will be buying a lot more of these BDU's in the future.... Happy Customer.

  Buttons to close and open the Crotch, that is simply absurd. What happened to using a Zipper. It is too difficult to fiddle with buttons when one has to urinate at least a half dozen times a day especially if in a real hurry, big drawback. The side pockets also with buttons rather then Velcro which would make opening and closing so simple. The Pull strings on the bottom of the legs is too short to tie a bow so one has to fiddle too long. Why not have the Tie go completely through the circumference of the pants leg rather then a few inches. No Watch/Change Pocket and in this day of cell phones a Phone pocket would be a nice addition. Lastly the waist buckles keep are not at all adequate and keep loosening up, why not an elastic expansion like Haggar Trousers. the bottom line I will never buy again.

  In my line of duty, I have worn plenty of BDUs. Obviously, they were of various qualities. Military Camo for woodland was ok but ACUPAT didn't breathe well and wasn't rugged in mountainous terrain. Plenty of external padding reduced this problem. I'll be shipping out to a third world country soon to set up industrial security for some US companies. We will use Brown BDUs and tan tactical boots. While I have yet to field test the pants I got for myself, if they are as tough as they look and fit !!!, I'll be ordering the same pants from Tactical Gear for all the forces I train. So far I am very impressed with the tough weave and very impressed with fit (I'm 6' 5" tall). I get nice blousing over my 5.11 Boots. I think the price is outstanding and I can only compare the cloth to Black tacticals and other Camo BDUs I have in the closet that survived :) So far, I'm impressed. More to follow.

  For the longest time I have had problems with my work pants ripping in the crotch area and around the seat. I have tried regular khakis, blue jeans of all sizes and brands, and nothing seemed to last me more than a month or two before showing wear. At the suggestion of family I decided to try BDU pants. I ordered these 3 months ago, and other than a few loose threads, and a button popped off the back pocket I have had no complaints. They are comfortable enough to wear in the south GA summers, I have plenty of pockets for all my tools, and the crotch has shown no signs of wear at all. I'll definitely be buying these again.

  Bought two pair - one olive one black. The crotch seam in the olive pair ripped open within a couple of months of wear. Attempted repair with marginal success - they were just not cut right from the get go. Black pair seem to be fairing better, but I would not take a chance with this brand again.

  Purchased the Propper ATACSFG pattern BDUfor trail & evaluation. Experience with the Propper poly/cotton blends for color fastness is poor. Even handwashing with mild detergent does not prevent the polyester fibers from fading to a shiny white after 2 handwashings. The poly fibers loose dye quickly and become white and reflect light, particulary at stress points. The DOD uses 50/50 NYCO (Nylon/cotton). Cannot suggest this product in good faith. Stitching and fit were good.

  I work as a stagehand in theater and have always worn BDU pants because you can fit a 7 and a half inch gel frame in the cargo pocket. The first thing to go has always been the lining of the rear pocket where I carry my wrench, but not with these Propper BDUs. I've had them for over a year now and they have held up very very well. The only weak spot appears to be the buttons on the fly; I've had to re-sew them a few times. They are still the most durable BDUs I have ever owned and will choose Propper every time from here on out.

  If you have ever worn a pair of BDUs, you know what I mean. I remember the first pair I put on. I was a teenager and my brother left his over a chair. I was in a hurry and grabbed them. I could not believe how comfortable they were while still being tough and utilitarian. I never looked back. No difference with these. I had not tried Proppers before but as soon as I ran them through the wash and wore them for a couple of hours I ordered three more pair. I gave them four stars rather than five because even though they seem well made, I doubt they will wear as well as some of the true military surplus units I have had in the past. For this price I doubt you will be disappointed.

  My Propper BDU jacket, BDU pants, BDU boonie hat and the fleece pullover all arrived today one day earlier than expected. After trying everything on I was totally satisfied with the fit and design. I ordered the medium long pants because other BDU's I've worn in the past tended to shrink and get pulled out of the boots allowing the creepy crawlers and debris to get into my boots and socks causing severe skin irritation. The pants feel much more rugged and durable than other camo pants I've worn in the past that felt flimsy and were quick to rip, tear, shrink, and fade even though they were of supposedly "virtually indestructible" material. No worries with these pants. They feel as though they will withstand regular use in almost any terrain and any situation and will remain tucked in to the boots while allowing me to blend in with my surroundings of dry grass, fallen leaves, and cornfields while keeping me plenty warm in relatively cold weather over my thermal base layers. If I happen to be entering into an area that makes me stand out while wearing these BDU's, I can always put together a ghillie suit ahead of time with some netting, strips of burlap and vegetation and wear that over these and the jacket.

  Good for hunting and hiking. They move well over my legs when bent at the knee. Appreciate the ankle ties. Only gripe is that the buttons are sewed on with the absolute minimum effort to keep the button attached to the pants. These are hardworking pants and will be used a lot, so I found it necessary to sew up the buttons myself. Some of them were even only sewn through two of the four holes! Only a minor gripe though, these are great trousers.

  These are great quality, and if you want them for whatever reason, I am certain they will perform well. My primary color is grey though, and these are quite brown - as such, they just will not do for what I wanted them for. My favorite pattern had been the urban version of woodland (it is black, grey and white, and I love those - but Propper is not making them anymore!) So, as I wear out my Urban BDU's, I will just be limited with grey until such time someone comes out with a grey pattern urban camo.

  Much tougher and durable than MIL-SPEC NYCO! Had the same pair since 2008 and still going strong. I work in construction and these pants are better than jean in terms of utility, durability, and finally comfort! Much lighter weight than jeans as well and quick drying because its mostly synthetic fibers. Suitable zombie apocalypse attire.

  excellent pants. great price. great fabric. great construction. great comfort with the simple waist adjustment provided. lightweight. consistent sizing. all around high quality. love the button flaps on the legs, back pockets and fly. washes and dries well. great for tactical or casual wear. if in doubt on sizing, order a size up so you have plenty of room. for me, i ordered 2xl and it fit just right, but i wanted a little more room in the thighs and crotch so i order 3xl and used the waist adfjustment. so comfortable. simply cannot go wrong with these pants. buying more after i submit this review.

  These are very good pants at a great price, they are well stitched and seem to hold up well to use. One thing I do want to point out that I did not know at the time of purchase, and is the reason for 4 stars is that these are high rise pants. On me they sit 1-2" below the belly button which is fine but it is a bit higher than I am used to, but that would be the only real fault I can find with these pants.

  I have many of these in different colors, and think there great . Only negative thing I can say is that the black has faded which is a disappointment as I wear these pants to work.

  I play airsoft, so I put significant demands on these pants. not as much as active duty, but enough. These pants excel indoors, but they have poor puncture resistance(AKA Thorns). I'm probably going to buy a more durable pant for field gameplay.

  I've been wearing these as work pants for about 2 months and ALL of the buttons have fallen off or are falling off. The fabric has faded immensly and the pattern just looks like a blotchy green/brown. More annoyingly the fabric pills like crazy. I've never seen pants turn to fuzz so quickly. The solid-color Propper BDU pants do not do this, I don't know why this fabric is different.

  So far these have been excellent pants. I've only had the chance to take them for a few quick hikes. Nothing 'tactical' as of yet, but as soon as the weather warms up a bit I will take them paintballing and shooting as often as I can. As far as the fit goes, they are a little snug about the waist (I will probably need to cold wash and hang dry). I could have returned them for a larger size but that would have made the legs far too baggy. So I kept them. Plenty of room in the crotch and legs as they are now, they allow for great flexibility and good range of motion. They are also astonishingly comfortable. So far I haven't done anything that could have torn them, so I can't comment on the effectiveness of the ripstop feature. My only issue is that the button fly is a little weird to get used to if you have never used one before, it doesn't bother me now, it was just a little strange at first. I feel it should be noted, when I saw they were a cotton poly blend I was a little worried about them being noisy or 'swishy' when I walked about, but they are remarkably silent, good for stealthy movements if they need to be made. All around great pants, would highly recommend!

  I am 6'3" 175 pounds. Unbloused these pants drag on the floor. I normally wear 36x36 jeans. These pants are too long for non bloused use, and probably too long even for bloused use. I am going to try to order another pair maybe medium. Waste was a tad too large. Pant legs are really baggie, top slant pockets could be deeper. Belt loops are real flimsy, maybe 1/4 inch. My bad, I didn't pay attention to the photo. The material is really nice. Crotch fits okay for me. I would really like to have seen a pocket for my android. Maybe I'll take it to my tailor and have one of the cargo pocket sewn up for my phone. I have no complaints about these pants. I'll come back in 6 months and give you an update.

  I purchased a black pair at a thrift store as part of a costume at a two day shooting contest and was I ever surprised! These pants had been worn and the color was still great and the comfort was so much better than jeans I love them for the range and shooting competitions they are great for everyday wear. I hate how when jeans get wet they soak up so much moisture the Proppers are so much more comfortable when wet and dry much faster than jeans. I will be purchasing Proppers when I need new pants. By the way the button fly is much better than the button fly in my Levis

  I have been using Propper pants for a very long time for both training and at the range. They are much more comfortable and lighter than most typical tactical style pants. They hold their color well and hold up well even after several harsh mud runs. Would recommend.

  I was very irritated with the sizing chart, I ordered a size that the chart said would fit and I had to exchange them for a smaller size. The pants seem very tough though and I am pleased with how big all the pockets are, also with out the adjustable waist bands they would be too big so I am happy the pants have those.I ordered the khaki color and I was a little irritated about how the color of the pants are darker than the picture on the website. I will be wearing these pants hiking and I am glad that I wont have to worry about them ripping on a branch, or getting to worn out while I am dealing with stokes while being raised or lowered down banks and rocks. Although the pants are very baggy on my legs, I figured that it will give me room to put on thermals and stuff my pockets if I need to. A few people on my Search and Rescue team recommended these pants to me, and I would do the same to some one looking for good quality pants.

  Not a military person but always loved the toughness of clothes made for the military. These feel like they will hold up. These pants will allow me to carry my photography gear without making carry a bag into the woods or in the urban jungle. The color options are great. For my intended use, the side adjusting buckle is metal (as it should be) which would scratch up a camera if you sling it...nothing a few small strips of fabric Velcro can't fix. So long Levi's! It's good to be wearing pants made in the U.S.A. again. My search is over.

  the material was put through a really nice gauntlet. worked out with them using many movements. washed them 5 times within a week. still have no problems with them at all. the durability of the fabric has kept up with many, many kicks to a heavy bag. the flexibility is great, i was able to do many crossfit exercises with them successfully without any problems of too much tugging. the adjustable bands on the sides are really helpful, keep me feeling comfortable and keep me from looking like a gangster...or an idiot. they are comfortable to the max, great for running in the 40 degree weather without worrying too much about overheating and getting too cold. my one and only complaint is the washing instructions. it rubbed a little too much to be comfortable so i just ripped it off, easy and practical solution. I would have absolutely loved them if they had a magazine pouch on the legs but that's just me. otherwise, very good product, going to get more soon.

  so far did the same thing another guy did. Warm wash + dryer on high = no problems. used them for some kick boxing practice testing the flexibility and the stretch of them, very nice flow to them. The material was very nice. few frayed seams needed clipping, but military specs are there. will make another review in about a week or so from further testing. they feel very nice.

  Just got these in the mail today after ordering them on Thur. Used regular UPS ground. Excellent customer service with MiltaryGear.com. Could not ask for more perfect service. Thank you very much. These BDU pants are more than I expected. As soon as I got them I washed them in hot water and dryed them on high, just to see if the color and size would hold up. Before ordering more! They came out just the way they went in. Perfect. The material is heavy duty and feels very tuff! The color is almost an exact match to the Blackhawk riggers belt OD green. I would recomend and will be buying more. True to length/size/color/and discription. Not too baggy and not to tight. Belt loops are plenty big enough for a riggers belt. Thank you!

  The Propper Poly/Cotton Ripstop BDU's are well made, and hold up to almost everything. I currently have several pairs, and have been wearing the 'Propper' brand for many years in many climates and for various applications. I am rather satisfied with this product. The only exception, or rather issue that I have with them is the material used for the inside of the front and back pockets. I believe it's a poly/cotton blend, but it can have a tendency to weaken over time and develop holes, especially if you carry lots of things. I suppose they use this material because of complaints regarding heat retention. However, years ago(and I still have a pair), Propper used the same Ripstop material for the inner pocket lining. I kind of wish, and hope they go back to that. It's far superior in it's construction, and I never noticed a difference in heat retention, even in desert environments. However, overall I find Propper to be the best available. The buttons stay on the longest, and the pockets hold up well too, considering. You can get a good year or two use out of them if you treat them right. Wash cold, and let them drip dry. They'll last twice as long, and hold their color better. I have noticed that the Ripstop poly/cotton blend dries fast too, even in more humid climates.

  I bought them for work. Jeans are heavy and cotton dries horribly. I work out side and need clothing that can keep up with the weather. Love the battle rip for those reasons. I just feel that the cut is not up to standers. I wear 36x36 and a large long is jean tight. I little tighter than previous BDU's I bought. I also worry about the stitching. Time will tell! I am for the most part happy with my purchase and would do it again. I would like a wider belt loop for the center of the back.

  These fit well and look great. They appear to be super durable, yet are not excessively heavy or bulky. They are cool looking enough so that I don't feel like some goober-soldier-wannabe, yet are the real deal when it comes to tactical purposes (in terms of CCW, extra magazine storage, and adaptability) and mil-spec indestructibility.

  I've been wearing Propper pants for hiking, cycling, any activity where I need tough pants... and also for lounging around/casual wear. I love the number of pockets, and the fact that these pants hold up so well. My old pair is about 5 years old and still going strong!

  I had been hunting around for a perfect "uniform" that was better for work than the blue jeans that I always wore. I selected BDU style slacks to test out. I tried a few colors, but having a lot of pets, hair will land on your pants. The color that works the best for me (and all my pets) is this dark grey version. I love the rip stop (Battle Rip) version because they really look good. Machine wash and dry (and they dry faster than jeans too!), fold them flat (just in half) and they look great right out of the drawer. I don't find it comfortable with my wallet in my back pocket when I need to sit down. The leg pocket is wonderful for that. I use the other one for my cell phone - spreading out the stuff I have to tote around with me all day is a blessing. While the design of the BDU's is great, the way the dark grey just kind of hides the pet hair is fantastic.

  I have owned well over a dozen pairs of Poly/cotton BDU's. They are utterly amazing, My main occupation is tree work, and that is very tough on pants. They just last and last.
