Super light, and comfortable! Enjoying the fantastic traction and ‘low platform’ minimalist form- feels very natural and makes running, hiking, and climbing very easy.

I have always loved this boots. I had them with my ACU's and it was a given that I will also wear it with my OCP's. I had the once for my ACU's for five years with no issues and I expect nothing lease of this one. They feel like you have regular shoes on and it still gives you the support you need for hard work days of being on your feet. I will always buy these boots before any other.

This was my second set of Coyote brown boots, fourth set of mini-mil's. Love these boots. Turned my sand boots into every day wear boots. Tough light weight boots that meet my minimumalist boot needs on and off duty.

I wear a 340 des in 13.5W. They fit a little loose even with extra thick wool socks. The 14W Mini-Mil isn't even close to fitting, even with thin running socks.

I was hesitant about purchasing a minimalist boot. this particular boot needs to be worn for break-in. it does feel comfortable - I wear a 11.5 overall and I chose the 12w and they feel good. I have room in the toes when I want to wear thick socks. well-worth the investment.

I wish more colors were available and I had to return the boots and get another size. I was charge handling and shipping in order to get the new size. Other than that, the boots are great and the customer service is courteous and prompt. Overall pleased.

I previously owned a pair of these boots in tan to wear with my ACU’d however I needed a new pair to wear with the new Army uniforms. Initially I purchased the Nike boots but they were extremely uncomfortable and I ended with blisters on both of my heels. I purchased these boots and just like my previous pair, they fit comfortably straight out of the box without any breaking in. Solid purchase and well worth the money.

      Reviewer: Palmer Zimmerman

      11/6/2017

I have slightly narrow feet, but regular (M) width boots have always worked. I can tell these are excellent boots but they will sadly be only for garrison.

The boots look great, ankle issue was the same for me. Like others have noted buying the boots in your regular size will fit like a half size smaller. Get at least a half size bigger than normal.

    • Great Flexibility and Comfort, Order 1/2 Size Up
      Reviewer: JP

      9/6/2017

Breaking in these boots was rough, left two blisters on inside of each foot under my ankles. But after breaking them in, which took about 2 days and 10 miles, they feel great. Recommend some thick boot socks for breaking them in. After that initial period, very flexible and comfortable. My only issue is that it says size 11 but fits like a 10 and 1/2. Order 1/2 size up and you should be good, and make sure you check your toe spacing BEFORE you break them in.

    • Got Blisters/Very Lightweight
      Reviewer: Anthony Choi

      7/8/2017

This is a very lightweight boot. Does not have the cushioning of other boots that I've worn before. The material of the upper is very rough. I started getting blisters/iiritation on the outside of my ankle. The boots are great if you are garrison, but I would not recommend for rucking. Whenever you walk on a dirt/rocky path you can feel every rock you step on. The quick lace system is nice. You can really feel the 8mm drop in this boot. This is a very minimalist boot. I am considering returning them and getting the Lightweight Belleville, which have more cushioning and a more durable bottom sole.

I absolutely love the design. All boots I've ever gotten in 12 fit great, except these. My toes are all the way smashed to the front. Probably going to exchange these for 13's.

    • Great Boot A Little Stiff
      Reviewer: Chris Ellison

      6/6/2017

The boots are awesome, very light, and fit true to size. They are very stiff, and I will need to work the heel cup a bit as it is unforgiving and rubs at the ankle (was aware of this potential issue after reading other reviews). All in all can't wait to really break them in and also see how durable they are. Customer service was great, appreciate the military discount, and the boots got here in two days.

    • Pretty solid boot so far, will likely buy another
      Reviewer: Steven hilton

      5/11/2017

I have had these 105's for about 2 weeks now and have very few complaints so far! I have put them through a multitude of scenarios and they performed well in mud, snow, slick rocks, soaking wet, dry sand. So far no obvious problems. So to keep it short and to the point here are some pointers about this boot. These are just my experience, so take it for what its worth. First up, i have a wide foot, i ordered 9.5 wides (usually a 9.5 normal) -Amazingly lightweight and agile feel, once broken in they feel like a tennis shoe with the strength and confidence of a boot. -overall construction seems to be high quality, not lose stitches or off pattern stitches. -pretty warm in cold (snowy ground) until wet. -The toe area is very roomy with the wides, but the rest of the boot fit about true to size. I like a little wiggle room so this was okay with me. -the heal cup was rough the first day and dug into my ankle enough to cause some minor scrub wounds. I massaged the heel cup for 30 minutes and it loosened the heal leather up ALOT; the next time wearing the boots they felt fine, with very little to no irritation on the ankle bone. -Grip is sufficient on slick surfaces(not incredible but good) -in wet snow they are mildly water resistant(the leather will soak through after a bit, breather holes obviously let water in) treat them with oil and they may perform better -my feet get pretty hot in these boots, but they do that in almost any shoe, so take that for what it is. Honestly if you are looking for a lightweight minimalist boot, this one is money in the bank. Oil them, spend some time working the heal cup with your hands, and you have an AMAZING boot. Ill be buying another pair just because i dont want them to stop making them lol.

    • I wish I loved everything about them
      Reviewer: Dale Raar

      5/10/2017

There isn't a lot to say about these boots, in all but one aspect they are perfect. But the rigid portion of the boot behind the heel is at just the right hight to chafe my ankles right up until they bleed. If it was any taller or shorter this product would be perfect. Roll the dice maybe your ankles are different than mine.

    • Response from TacticalGear.com

Thanks for the review, Dale. We're sorry to hear these boots were so uncomfortable on your ankle! If you need any help with a return, please don't hesitate to reach out.
