    • Looks great. Waist runs small

They were right. The waist runs at least 1 side small. I have no idea why. I can't wear them or return them. So I guess they are my new "goal" pants.

    • This jacket fantastic with one significant flaw.
      Reviewer: CEM

For multi-layer warmth, this jacket is fantastic. From snow to rain, it performs great. However, the only zipper that is constantly used is the main middle zipper. TRU-SPEC decided to go with a cheap and flimsy main zipper. It does not allow for a rapid zip-up, like a YKK zipper and after a month or so it started to fail. Not the zipper completely separates from the bottom and then is extremely difficult to unzip. What strange is TRU-SPEC went with multiple grades of rugged YKK zippers in other components of the jacket, such as for the zip-in liner. So, for areas where zippers are rarely used, they went with a high-grade zipper and a much lower grade zipper for the main one that is used often. Like a previous reviewer, I've had this jacket for just over 4 months and it's not one I wear constantly.

The TRU-SPEC Headquarters

TRU-SPEC’s name stands for “true specifications” and was inspired by the idea of meeting military specifications. Each product is engineered to meet strict standards, ensuring long-lasting performance from any gear branded with the TRU-SPEC name. The TRU-SPEC brand has provided public safety professionals and military personnel with quality, functional apparel since 1996. But its roots in the military and tactical field run much deeper. Its parent company, Atlanco, started as a military surplus distributor in 1950. As surplus supplies started to run out, the company manufactured its own Atlanco brand of tactically inspired clothing and equipment in the 1980s. With TRU-SPEC, the company doubled down on its mission to arm elite operators with the most advanced, reliable equipment and apparel on the market.
