Blackhawk Tactical Pistol Lanyard

This product comes exactly how you see it. It's simple and it works. There are no fancy snaps or swivels but, unless you are removing your firearm constantly, they would be unnecessary anyway. I bought this lanyard to use with concealed carry. My reasoning for this purchase (since I ride my motorcycle every day) was to insure I don't lose my firearm in the event of an accident. It works perfectly. There's nothing to foul up here. Also, it is very easy to conceal. Even if someone catches a glance of the coiled cable, most would chock it off to being attached to a wallet or something - Highly recommended.

Very easy to setup and use. When setup to user's preference it doens't get in the way at all. Metal around the eyelet laps the pistol when walking (when carried in a thigh holster)which is annoying/distracting but doesn't take away from functionality. The thread that is the final connection to the pistol ring seems to fray every so often. It seems reliable but seems like the place for the system to fail eventually (or the pile tape, which is replaceable). I do not expect it to fail before getting my money's value out of it.

Well made and does what it promises. I have to agree with the other reviewer that the little bells and whistle would be nice but there also has to be something said about simplicity.

If you're using this for airsoft I'd say it's ok. If you plan on using it for a real handgun that your life is depending on I would not get this, it's very bulky and snags on pockets, and branches/debris. Tri Tech makes a much better one that I'd reccomend if your life hangs in the balance, but for Airsoft and so forth and for a cheeper price this will do if it's not life or death. For me I can't use this. I took two stars of because of function issues. If it's not life or death you'll be fine with this.

I was very happy with the lanyard. Its functional and works well with any type of belt. I think a quick release at the top would be a good idea. If you try to switch your pistol out, you have to undo the loop from the pistol by hand. Cheap price and helping save a buck for anyone.
