The ASP Tungsten USB is designed so that performance is paramount and reliability is king in a small, powerful and incredibly bright light. ASP research developed a unique light engine technology which produces brilliant white, pre-focused light. A constant current driver is combined with a mathematically precise collimating cone to achieve unparalleled output. Advanced optics are coupled with precise machined high strength aerospace aluminum. All surfaces are then anodized with a proprietary Type III matte black hardcoat finish. All connectors and springs on the Tungsten USB are gold plated. The electronic circuit board drives a Cree XPG2 LED to 450 lumens as measured against the ANSI FL1 Standard. The Triad USB comes with a retractable USB charging cable, wall charger, car charger and detachable Snap-Loc clip, and indicator lights show the battery's charge status.
