Very comparable to a safariland and has some features that even surpasses it. Retention is great and very quick and intuitive for the draw. Works great with my g19 and g17L with a streamlight tilt-1.

Q: I currently own a T-series 2 for the Glock 17. Since I'm new to handguns, I was wondering if this has the same thumb lock as the non-light holster and whether or not I can swap out the quick release.

A: Yes, Blackhawk's T-Series holsters all use the thumb break retention lock, and Blackhawk does also offer other styles of quick release mounts to allow you to attach this holster to a drop-leg setup or other configuration.
