I bought a pair of Belville 650ST in a local army store, used ones but looking brand new, for about 50€. Allthough they got the Gore-Tex layer i decided to use them on a powerplant site in the UAE. During summertime we approached 50°C and more with a humidity of about 70-90% where the boots felt very uncomfortable. During all other times it was great to wear them and the GoreTex did a good job. Now they shifted me to the Oman where we had several rainfalls so i was glad to stay dry-footed. I also used them for a survival trip during starting of Winter in Germany around 0°C with several water-crossing paths, no problems for the boots, but the steel toe is really good conducting cold. I only had 1 fail during 1 year, left side the lace ripped off while passing a thornbush-area. The grip at least on sand and rough stone is excellent, so nothing to fear about. Size was 9.5, wide, i wear 42-43 in german size. Overall i'd give the boot a 4.5/5
