  • 1 out of 5 I bought a pair of these less than four months ago. I work as a pest control technician and do a lot of walking around people's homes and on uneven surfaces. These boots had a brutal break in causing blisters on my Achilles heel until I developed a callus to compensate. The tell you they are light, and this is completely accurate. However the omit that they wear out very quickly. Today I noticed that both shoes are nearly worn through on the ball of the foot and need immediate replacement. Not engineered for the long haul.

About Converse

Converse collage In the winter of 1908, Converse Rubber Shoe Company commenced production on rubber-soled footwear. It wasn't long until the shoes were picked up by tennis and basketball athletes because of its flexibility and traction. Today Converse stands its ground as one of the most celebrated brands in the world—garnering dozens of nicknames for its shoes, including Chuck Taylors. In addition to sport-specific footwear, Converse designs boots for hiking and military. The brand name also appears on clothing and accessories. Converse boots provide the same comfort that can be found in its athletic shoe styles. For those who spend their workday on their feet, Converse footwear is a smart, well-performing choice.
