Combining precision engineering, functional design, and resilient construction, the Apex Pant is a next- gen cargo pant that exceeds expectations in any role. Ideal for tactical, casual, or covert wear, the Apex Pant is built from 6.4 oz. Flex-Tac mechanical stretch canvas that offers extreme durability while remaining flexible and mobile. Front hip pockets feature reinforced fabric at the knife clip, and thigh- mounted cargo pockets are deep, smooth, and include zip closure to keep your gear stable when you're on the move. Internal pockets sewn into each cargo pouch and twin back yoke pockets are all sized for AR magazines, providing plenty of space for spare ammo. A covert pocket at the inside waistband is sized for a set of flex cuffs, and a handcuff key pocket is hidden at the rear waistband. A flexible comfort waistband, seven sturdy belt loops, gusseted construction, and articulated knees ensure complete freedom of movement, and a Teflon treated exterior repels stains, spills, and soil to keep you looking your best.

5.11 Apex pants review

I was disappointed that the 5.11 Apex pants, for me, don’t fit as comfortably as the 5.11 original tactical pants.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Excellent pants

I am very impressed. Excellent pants. They are made from a bit lighter material but they still seem tough (time will tell). Excellent design and cut and I really like that the thigh area is not huge (not tight either) like with some other pants.

Great design product

Fits great. Comfortable. Wears well in warm weather. Has the right pockets for what I need but doesn’t look bulky. One of few pants sold in 35W.

Best pants ever

Over the years I’ve had 10 pairs of the Apex tactical pants that I use for work. I’ve tried several pairs of cheaper pants to try and save a few bucks but always come back to these. There is simply nothing out there that is as comfortable.

I love this product but too small

These are pants that set new standards and blue can kind of come across like jeans. But with fabulous pockets, material, design, and workmanship. Thank you. The material is both durable, stretchable, and lays extremely comfortably. Pockets are very unobtrusive.

Untouchable

These are by far THE BEST pants I've ever tried. They conform to your legs without being tight, they breathe “like Egyptian cotton”, they fit over boots and tucked inside boots without looking weird, they stretch as you bend your knees and move (in any direction, really), they have an UNBELIEVABLE amount of pocket space while remaining very slim on the outside. I'm used to wearing BDU pants and 5.11 blows them out of the water in every respect. Summary: These are slim, lightweight, durable, breathable, comfortable, and stylish while still maintaining the appropriate grayman look. They fit as expected and have exceeded all expectations. Worth the price. 110% satisfied.

Not my first choice

I had originally wanted a pr of Stryke pants in Ranger Green, but my size was out of stock. Decided to give the Apex a try, and i’m pleasantly surprised. Top of the line design and workmanship. Depending on their durability might be ordering a second pair.
