The 5.11 Stryke pants sport a crisp, professional appearance with plenty of hidden functionality. The front hip pockets are designed to fit a knife or a cell phone while the double-deep, double-reinforced angled cargo pockets provide plenty of secure storage space. For on-duty use, the pants feature badge holders on both left and right front belt loops and internal knee-pad pockets. In order to maintain maximum mobility, these pants feature 5.11's proprietary Flex-Tac fabric, a stretchy polyester / cotton fabric blend that still holds up tough. Articulated knees, a tunneled elastic waistband and gusseted crotch also contribute to extreme freedom of movement. To top it off, the entire garment is coated with a Teflon treatment that repels water and increases stain resistance.

Great pants, I will soon have a pair in each color

BTW, storm is a definite gray color. The photo is misleading. Excellent pants. Certainly tough enough for outdoors and time at the range, but also good looking for a day at the office. Not baggy in the seat and thigh like some other brands. I prefer the Velcro closure on the cargo pockets instead of a zipper.

5.11 pants are the best for work.

They fit very good, look good, and most importantly of all feel good. I used to work as a security guard for 10 years I wish I knew about these now that I work in logistics. This brand is known for durability and function.

My new favorite pants

Wow, excellent pants. Comfortable and with great features. Fit is trim and just as expected (no, the thigh area does not resemble a sailing boat). I like the snap button on the waist and the velcro on the cargo pockets.
