So far so good, might grab another pair, love the look and comfort of it. Haven’t tried it in a water environment yet so we’ll have to see about that

So far so good. Very good quality and get compliments from my boys. I would recommend to get the wide version if you have even a normal foot width. I’ve never had to go that route but will definitely size up on the width for the next pair.

Love these. They are my work shoe. Pretty much entirely standing on / running on concrete surfaces for 5-9 hours at a time. I did switch the insoles out from an old pair of skate shoes I was going to retire because the insoles they have are a sticky rubber (think of what they were designed for...) and would not let go of sock as your putting your foot in. I'm just saving them for when I go kayaking or something. The laces stretch a bit which is nice. Big loop for slipping them on an off is helpful. Material seems to be quality. They look good. I'm going to purchase more of these.

So good that I have 3 pair. One high top and two low cut. They really are ready straight out of the box and they do grip! I'm now wearing one of the pair nearly all of the time. Even wore a pair with a suit! They'll go every where!

Love this shoe. Very comfortable and durable. I was worried about the rubber insole, once I get sock situated doesn't move or slide in shoe. I bought another pair and wear them daily.

I have worn these with socks and without, and they wear really well. Best thing is how light they are. You basically get the features of a low cut boot, with the size of a shoe. It does take some getting used to the rubber sole. Its just weird feeling at first.

All I can say is when in Rome. Get wet. These were made for seals. Socks or barefoot wet. Walk & run. Then retie your laces; the fit is the best shoe I have ever worn when you do this. Sorry SWCC for spilling the beans. Maritime is right baby, wow

I have 3 pairs of these. Bought MultiCam in regular width. I wear a size 12. They’re a little tight. But not bad. So when I got these black ones I ordered a size 12 Wide. Fits PERFECT. Wore them all day and walked quite a bit. No issues. Felt great. They are designed to be worn without socks people!!!! So anyone that’s griping because they’re tight with socks that would be the reason why. I get compliments on them all the time.

    • Great shoe , but be prepared
      Reviewer: kmjack2

      5/16/2018

I really like the looks of this shoe. It does fit well but I have a middle toe that sticks up so I have to settle my foot in when I first put them on. The sticky interior sole makes this a bit of a challenge, sock or no sock. Once they're on they can be worn all day with great comfort. They are actually a tad more comfortable without socks as they are made to be worn this way, but I worry about funky feet so don't usually do that. You may find the interior sole off-putting but give them a chance. It's really handy when you get your feet wet for any reason. Keeps your foot from sliding around.

    • Disappointed
      Reviewer: Rafael Fuente

      4/25/2018

Looks well, but in reality they are very uncomfortable. The rubber insole is very aggressive even wearing socks. I had to buy insoles from Walmart in order to use my shoes. Another thing is I am medium foot and these shoes are so tight to my foot that I have to use them almost loose. It disappoints me because I do like the style, colors and the construction they have. They are strong and well made product, but uncomfortable. I was planning to buy another pair in coyote, but I still trying to dominate these that I have.

      Reviewer: Matthew Stone

      3/28/2018

I was looking for a converse style casual shoe to wear out in the town that was a little more durable because sometimes I make impromptu trips to the range and just in general wanted something more rugged that the usual canvas cloth that rips after only one night out on taco Tuesday. Overall great shoe with a nice non tactical look thats really rugged for a great price.

Men's Altama OTB Maritime Assault Low - MultiCam - 9M : A couple things come to mind right off: 1) Somewhere along the way I was under the impression Altama's shoes were made in the USA. This particular shoe isn't. 2) I'm not use to buying shoes or boots in whole sizes only. This particular shoe is only available in whole sizes. I took a chance because I wear a 1/2 size shoe and I ordered up to the next whole size and the fit is good. What does the guy do that wears a (whole) size since he cant go up to the next 1/2 size? In other words, if I wear a 10 1/2 but I go a half size up to the 11 and it fits me fine, then what does the guy do that wears an 11? Go up a whole size to a 12 ? Hmm. I haven't really tested the shoe outdoors yet because I wanted to be sure that I was going to keep it. From wearing it a few times inside for most of a day though, it has proven to not rub in any odd way and actually has felt fairly comfortable. The construction seems to be of decent quality and it look like and fits like a Chuck Taylor. I have not experienced the pulling off of socks when removing the shoe like some have mentioned. Maybe it happens when the insoles get wet? I cant say for sure because I have not worn these shoes under any wet conditions. So, I'm happy with this shoe to date and will definitely plan on wearing it more in the near future. I rated it four stars because of my number 1 & 2 statements above. Hopefully it was worth the money. Time will tell. Based on my short experience with the Altama OTB Maritime Assault Low, I would recommend it.

    • Perfect wet-foot canoe shoe
      Reviewer: Joe Pikul

      12/8/2017

I am pleased with this shoe. It is a nicely made and meets my needs. I wear 10.5 and ordered 11. Good fit with wool socks. I wanted a shoe that would be reasonably good on the portage trail and in the water. I got the low cuts to minimize the amount of water I drag into the canoe on each launch. You can actually get a couple fingers in the heel pull tab. The sole looks as advertised. Field testing will have to wait for spring.

I wear an 8.5 or an 8 wide shoe, ordered this in a 9 and it fits perfectly well. Love the styling of the shoe. The insole is made of a water proof rubber that is soft but grips onto your sock when putting it on. You'll have to really loosen up the laces to get it on, just a heads up not a negative by any means. You know it's a good shoe when the first time my wife sees it she compliments them.

I love these shoes. They are sized a little small, I wear a 9 in Chucks, so I tried a 9 in these but were small. I returned them for a size 10, and now I can’t take them off. I have PT’d in them, swam them wore them for 14-16 hours straight and I have zero complaints. Shoes are great, customer service was great.

      11/7/2017

These shoes are awesome, the sizes are true and they fit great. They have incredible grip. Plus they look bad ass. The only thing I found annoying is when taking your feet out, the insoles would slip out with my feet, but that fine because if you use them for water ops this makes them better to check for trapped water.

Most comfortable shoe ever, whatever you're using it for, in water, on the trails, in the gym, or on the streets it's a great shoe, fits securely to the foot, no slippage, I normally wear a 9.5 so I ordered the size 10 and they fit great! Probably not the best shoe for a long distance run but I did 2 miles in them and the feet felt great during and after.
