The Bates Rush Tall Boots are designed to take on any challenge. This boot is made out of abrasion-resistant flesh-out cattle hide leather to ensure durability and comfort. The highly coveted slip-resistant rubber lug outsole is designed to provide stability and traction in the roughest terrain, all while maintaining flexibility. Energy-returning lightweight CMEVA midsoles cushion every step while reducing fatigue. A removable molded EVA footbed contours the foot for additional flexibility and a custom fit. In addition, these boots are AR 670-1 and AFI 36-2903 compliant, making them authorized for wear with Operational Camouflage (OCP) uniform. No matter the assignment, these boots are ready at a moment’s notice.

Very light weight and breathable.

Adhesives have come along way so we will see about longevity. It is rather difficult to cinch the strings, you have to work the slack towards the top. This boot is very thin and light but comfortable.

Product is defective!! Do Not Purchase!!

Just arrived today. Product is defective QC is poor! The left boot has a fold at the lower right side of the tongue on the inside. It presses against my big toe and is very uncomfortable.

Quality Control Issue?

After less than three months of almost exclusively on-pavement use and part of a three boot rotation, the back seam failed as per the photograph. As this experience seems to mirror that of reviewer Regina R. prospective purchasers may want to think twice?

Not long lasting

I bought theses on 30 May 2022. I have worn these along with another pair of older boots, switching them periodically. I now have to buy another pair of boots. The stitching in the back of the boots have started to come apart. The boots are overall comfortable but they do not last long.
