Zipper version purchased/ zipper broke

I bought this boot 7 months ago (side zipper version) and the zipper came apart meaning doesn't close when zippering. A comfortable boot with minimal to no break in period.

This boot replaced a very good original tactical sport boot. It is not as comfortable as the original sport, The fabric on the tongue is tearing and the metal eyelets pieces are coming off. This is truly a case of change is not better.

This used to be a good source for boots. But no longer. This boot is cheap plastic with little to no support. I'm sending it back and looking for a new vendor. Very disappointing.
