The boots squeak very loudly when walking.

The boots are comfortable, however, the smooth material on the interior of the boot rubs against the smooth material on the tongue of the boot making a very loud squeaking noise. I had to put moleskin all over the problem areas and stuff a tissue between the tongue and the boot to stop the noise. I'm a retired police officer who now works as a court bailiff and can't be squeaking as I walk through the court room.

I purchased the coyote color and I wear them daily, great ankle support and great flexibility in the boot itself and support of my balance and active lifestyle. Previously I purchased galls black leather in the same boot and was thrilled with its performance not only on duty but in personal activities also. The coyote color is more conducive to my semi-retired environment and daily activities.Thank you Galls!Jerry
