The strong sewn-on-seam belt loops are able to support the weight of a work belt without breaking down. Measure the fullest point between your natural waist and crotch.

Inseam:

Measure from your crotch down to the desired length on body. You may also measure pants that you currently own and like. Lay the garment flat and smooth out. Measure on the front from the crotch point along the seam to the hem for the inseam length.

dysfunctional ordering process

This review process is typical of why I only give four stars: The website is completely FUBAR. The product I tried to review, going right down the page from it to "write a review" is the overalls. But what product comes up? The pants. I just completed an order for the overalls, which I've bought previously, and they are fine - as are the pants. But the order process is a nightmare. It took three tries to just complete the order. The website usually doesn't work, like it gets stuck halfway through and won't continue. The live chat doesn't work. The phone number connects me to someone who can't do anything. Carhartt makes good products, but they need to clean up their website. I almost bought Duluth, even though I've done so before and prefer Carhartt, just because Duluth has a website that functions well. Figure it out, guys!

Great pants could be made better with easier kneepads

Just as expected: quality, tough, and good fit. I have to bend and crouch a lot in confined spaces and these pants work well for that. They would be a bit better with easier to manage kneepad pockets. The slits are small enough to make placement of pads a fiddly process. Trying to rearrange after laundry or first installing is a bit tricky. Would rather have a fast install and go solution. Otherwise, I love the pants.

Size (W34L32) is way different from normal sizes. Actually more like W28L34. We will donate them to a smaller(skinny)/taller person.
