Durable, long lasting Combat Jump Boots

I purchased a pair of these boots (8.5 EE) in 1977 while in JROTC and wore them while serving the U.S. Air Force (1980-1986). With proper care, the sole and heel replacement will last a lifetime. I've owned mine for 48 years! Oh yeah, steel taps are on them, too. Yes, they are pricy, but you're getting quality USA-made boots. Not to mention keeping a fellow American employed. Good overall

Overall I’m happy with these boots. My only complaint is several of the eyelets weren’t set properly and had sharp pieces of metal protruding. This caused a lot of fraying of the laces. After removing the sharp shards, a little filing, and replacing the laces all is good now.

Been wearing this boot for a decade

This is my third set. Good width and tough. Take care of them and they'll take care of you. I recommend a waterproof coating a month in. The zipper side makes these easy on and off. Take care not to wrench on the zipper or you'll break it off in a year or two of continuous abuse. But that's how metal works so hopefully not a surprise to anyone.

Great boots

I love these boots! I wore them in the Army for many years and now I wear them for my EMS job. My only complaint on this pair is the right boot zipper sticks and is hard to zip up.
