Cutting-edge performance features and outstanding comfort unite in the Danner 8" Lookout SZ WP. The insole uses the innovative Danner Comfort System (DCS), which uses a plush footbed and heel pad for cushioning and unique airflow channels for underfoot ventilation. The upper is made with durable, waterproof leather and ripstop ballistic nylon to stand up to the harshest job environments. The spacious toe box allows your forefoot to splay more naturally to enhance your agility and responsiveness, especially when moving laterally or carrying a heavy load. Featuring a soft toe and semi-locking side zipper, these boots are light and comfortable on your feet while remaining tough enough to handle harsh terrain.

really narrow at the arch,

really narrow at the arch, the eyelets are riveted on in a way that they stab my ankle from the front not sure if thats by design but i had to bend them out of the way to make it through my shift

This pair replaced my old

This pair replaced my old pair of Lookouts which lasted 4 years of heavy use. They fit well and perform well and are a good value.

Overall it's a great boot

Overall it's a great boot and handles well in my EMS application. I have weird feet so I generally have to psychically try on boots to have a good fit. These boots feel a little long and narrow but I think it is a personal issue. Overall, I will definitely buy again if had to make a choice again!

This is my 2nd pair

This is my 2nd pair of Danner Lookout boots. I really like the sole of these boots as the flexible rubber seems to handle ice, and slippery conditions better than any other boot I've ever tried. The leather is sturdy and durable. I've been a LEO for 18yrs and will buy Lookouts again as the two pair I have now get worn out.
