A plush, dual density footbed combines superior ventilation and consistent support for a premium, durable boot. These boots were built on Danner's anatomically shaped DLE-1H last, designed to feel like an extension of the foot, which allows you to feel the ground underneath your feet. They are waterproof, slip-resistant and meet or exceed safety standards for resistance to body-fluid-borne pathogens. Constructed to be light without giving up any protection or durability, these boots are ready to perform.

Love the boot, squeaks very

Love the boot, squeaks very loud when moving. The insole heal plastic vibrates/ squeaks against inside of the boot material. Would like a fix for this. Any options?

These boots are what I

These boots are what I have come to expect from Danner: comfortable, well made and good looking. The only thing that keeps this from being a five star review is the fact that the insoles squeak. And I don't mean occasionally; both insoles squeak on every step, even after three weeks and some attempts to quiet them with powder. I swapped the Danner insoles into a pair of sneakers and put gel insoles into the Damners. No more squeak in either pair. Something about the Danner insoles in the Danner boots is noisy!

The only thing I am

The only thing I am a little surprised that the none slip sole is not that great because I work in the hospital setting in the kitchen where I wash pots and pans and I am on a slick floor all day and it does not grip that well . I have had other dinners and not had that problem.

Awesome boot that allows for

Awesome boot that allows for maximum comfort. The toe box is wide so you don't have a cramped feeling. The insoles are have enough cushion for maximum comfort. They squeak a little since the insole heel cup rubs against the interior leather but they looses up after being worn. Definitely will buy again for duty use.

The only thing that has been slightly uncomfortable is the top of the boot rubs on toes. Hoping once the boots are broken in that will stop.

As a person who suffers from peripheral neuropathy, Morton's neuromas and a recent trimaeleor fracture to my left ankle, I looked carefully for options that gave me comfort as well as support when walking. This is my first purchase of Danner boots and I will assure you it will not be my last. The comfort is amazing. The stability it gives me even when depending stairs is more than I could have hoped for.
