Worst boots I have ever purchased

I purchased two pairs for elk hunting, after one year both pairs split from the shoe string lug to the rubber sole and ripped loose from the rubber toe protector. I will not purchase any Danner boots made with canvas, a wast of $200.00

I had to wear a couple of times to break in but now they are comfortable. They're easy on and off. The lacing system is great. So far so good

They seem pretty solid, only time will tell. I was trying a new boot Danner offered. My last ones were the Sharptails and I absolutely loved them, they were very comfortable but fell apart at the toe stitch before the year was up. So I tried the Vitals. They were not nearly as comfortable, I got a blister the first day hiking in them and they’re a lot stiffer feeling. The sharptails toe box was superior, and over all comfort was greater. I’ll still see how they hold up but so far not my favorite.

Most comfortable boot right out

Most comfortable boot right out of the box and The only boot I’ve been wearing for 8 years . They only last me about 6 months in the Hawaii lava rock but still better than any other boot I’ve tried .

My first hunting boots. Haven’t

My first hunting boots. Haven’t stress tested them yet with any backcountry or serious hiking activities but wearing them around town and the outdoor shooting range, they’re very comfortable. I have size 13 feet and while they’re sturdy, they don’t make me feel like Herman Munster. As to sizing, I’m a 13 in Nike and a 12. 5 in adidas. The Danner Vital in 13 is a perfect fit. The brown color looks tough but not tactical. Feels appropriate in all settings.
