This stretch microfleece soft shell is designed to be worn as a stand-alone outer garment or as a mid-layer liner combined with our Shield Duty or HiVis shells.

  • Fabric: 2-Way Stretch Woven 96% Polyester / 4% Spandex exterior with fleece interior and windproof, waterproof, breathable Hydrotech membrane
  • Weight: 7.6 oz. / sq. yard
  • Can be used as a zip-in liner with Shield Duty Jacket or HiVis Parka
  • Two-way full-length nylon zipper with abrasion-resistant chin protector
  • “Quick Release” side zipper vents with stability tabs and adjustable snaps
  • Dual concealed-carry / utility chest pockets with zipper closures
  • Large fleece-lined hand warmer pockets with zipper closures and D-ring
  • Two large internal patch pockets with zipper closures and communications access openings
  • Adjustable cuffs with hook-and-loop closures

The older softshell had a soft flannel type materi

The older softshell had a soft flannel type material. these new ones are more like a rain shell. I have mixed feelings about this. I was expecting a soft shell to wear underneath .

Decent jacket

It's overall a great jacket. As other people have posted, it does run small. I'm afraid to wash mine though. The silver reflective stripes are already flaking off. I've had it less than a month.
