Great update to the 945
Loved my 945 but this is even better. Screen is easier to read (esp for older eyes). I enjoy the option of the touchscreen but also keeping the button options that I know. Nothing but compliments for the updated version of the previous watch.

Good features
Bought it about 3 weeks ago. It’s a nice watch and does provide a plethora of fitness features. That said, I do feel like it’s somewhat lacking and could still benefit from a few added features. Overall good device, would recommend.

Love my Garmin

I’ve been wearing this watch for a few weeks now and I’m very impressed with all the data it captures. It helps me understand my sleep patterns and even recommends workouts for me with Garmin Coach

Upgrades from AW Ultra to Forerunner 955
I love this watch. It’s definitely more than I probably needed but I’m thrilled with it. Hoping to “grow” into with my activities. It was a change from not being able to reply to texts and such but those AW features weren’t important to me. The battery life is a huge upgrade.

Garmin Forerunner 955 – Best Running Watch I’ve Ever Owned
11 days ago
Hands down the best running watch I’ve ever used. The Garmin Forerunner 955 has everything I need for high-mileage training weeks and then some. I’ve been putting in 70-mile weeks, and the combination of performance tracking, battery life, and features makes it basically indispensable.
One of my favorite things about it is the built-in music feature—I can load playlists straight onto the watch and connect my AirPods directly via Bluetooth. No more carrying my phone on long runs. It’s such a clean setup and makes a big difference on long sessions where I just want to focus and move.
The full-color mapping and navigation tools are seriously impressive. Whether I’m exploring new routes in the backcountry or running some random plateau outside of Yellowstone, I can see exactly where I am and where I’m going. The breadcrumb trail feature and turn-by-turn navigation are especially useful when I’m way off-grid or linking up lesser-known trails.
Battery life is also top tier. Even with GPS and music running, I can go multiple long runs before needing a charge. In standard GPS mode, it’ll last up to 42 hours, and even longer in UltraTrac. Daily use with tracking and notifications doesn’t drain it fast at all.
If you’re serious about running or trail exploration, I can’t recommend the Forerunner 955 enough. It’s light on the wrist, packed with features, and reliable no matter where you take it. An absolute workhorse for anyone logging big miles or getting deep into the mountains.

Great Features but Dead Pixels
Bought this watch not too long ago. Features are all you are accustomed from Garmin. Only problem is that I got a spot with dead pixels, not good.

Bad data tracking
Fairly new, once every 5 days will it accurately track any steps, activity, workouts, and my sleep score. The data tracking sucks, and never works properly or at all.
