One of Leatherman's largest multi-use tools, the Surge is equipped with 21 different tools for a wide variety of tough jobs. Among the many features built in are wire cutters for both hard- and light-gauge wire made with 154CM steel that will last nearly three times as long as regular stainless steel. It also includes a plain knife and serrated knife that are corrosion resistant and scissors that use a spring-action opening to reduce hand fatigue. Other useful features include needle nose and regular pliers, can opener, ruler and two screwdrivers. Best of all, every tool can be operated with just one hand. Made in USA.

Worth it!

Amazing enough, I had to use the Phillips screwdriver the day I mounted it on my vest. Love having the tool as I always have the basic and small set of tools with me at all times. Truly work the money.

This is the first Leatherman I have purchased for myself. So far it has exceeded my expectations. Sturdy and durable. I highly recommend for anyone in the professional trades or a person who is an avid fixer upper type. It's a little heavy, but that doesn't bother me. I have it in my EDC.

I love my Surge

Great multi-tool. I carry mine daily and appreciate having it on me. If you wash it briefly in mild soap and water, the factory finish won't rub off on to your hands. Do lube to prevent rust spots afterwards.

Nice EDC

Everything you need for EDC. Not for pocket carry, but it comes with nice nylon case for carry on belt. Great tool!

Comes loose from factory.

Arrived in a good timeframe to APO in Afghanistan. I was expecting the legendary Leatherman quality but the main blade and scissors have side to side and front to back play. This can be fixed by tightening the bolts but now I have to spend another 15-20$ on two T10 Security torx. This could be easily fixed at the factory if QC was more effective.
