Despite being primarily known as essential combat gear for desert ops, the Mission Made Shemagh is a multi-purpose lightweight cover that can be worn in a variety of climates, and is perfect for both military personnel and civilians. Originally designed to protect its wearers from sun exposure and stinging sand, this shemagh’s lightweight and durable cotton construction also provides cover from wind, snow and dust. Its large size can accommodate any wearer, and allows for varying levels of ventilation based on the method used to secure it. Wear as a heavy-duty scarf in the winter or as head and neck protection during outdoor sports or tough jobs. It’s rugged enough to withstand tough conditions, but soft enough for comfortable all-day wear.

The color and pattern are exceptional. Large enough to actually wrap and tie appropriately. The video on the site was really helpful to tie correctly.

Shemaghs to shawls

The shemaghs are lovely. I’m very happy with the deep blue color. I purchased 4 of them which, by sewing two together, became two versatile shawls. The material is light so I usually double the shawls over lengthwise. They can also be used as wrap around skirts or, doubled over, as head covers when it’s cold.

Comfortable Cotton. Looks and seems authentic. The only negative is the label that is attached; unsightly and noticeable. Continue to be a quality driven, affordable supplier but loose the shameless "plug".
