Still the best boots I've owned.

Every couple of years I start a new search to see if there's a new brand/model that fits the bill and each time that search keeps bringing me back to these. After 30+ years of being with "another brand" that went out of production, I found these and haven't been able to locate anything superior. This is it. I like the leather toes more than the fabric because I'm often in/around water. The soles are absolutely amazing for clinging to mossy rocks and boulders. It's hard to slip on a surface almost guaranteed to do just that. Breathable in all the right spots and yet I never get any water in the boots. I'm actually trying to think of one thing to complain about and I can't. Maybe they wear down a little quick but that all depends on how long you wear them so it's a moot point.

Flawless.

I needed light, airport friendly, but waterproof and yet, no squeaking when you walk. So far this is the only one that meets those needs. As a bonus the tread is such a perfect grip that I've been able to walk up mossy boulders by a waterfall without losing traction. I'm impressed.
