These pants are comfortable and extremely warm. Several trips to a local East Coast blown ice ski resorts and these pants handled them like a champ. I really want the jacket to complete the set, but they no longer make it. Definitely one of my favorite pieces of winter kit.

Lightweight, highly compressible, easy on and off, and warm

Great winter pants. Very warm and versatile. I love how you can take them off even if you have boots on. You can wear them over pants or wool baselayer. I ended up buying a pair for my dad. These are great for skiing as well. True to size. I’m 5’9 and 150lbs slender build and went with a small. Have plenty of room to wear a pair of pants under them. At first I wasn’t sure about the no belt loop but I’m able to tighten with the Velcro straps.

I sadly had to return these because the XL was too bulky in the waist and the L was too short in the inseam - not the pant's fault, I just happen to be in between sizes. The quality of construction and materials is excellent, and generally speaking these would have been perfect if they had fit me. Almost. One star off for the bulky and nonsensical design of the ankle area. The are cut big enough to go over ski boots or other very bulky winter boots, but have no adjustment save a single cord+barrel elastic synch that results in loose, bunched fabric at the ankles, and a cord hanging down low enough to be stepped on as you walk. If you plan to use these exclusively with ski or other very large winter boots, that should be no issue. But I need something for mountaineering where I have smaller boots and crampons.

These are nice pants they are lightweight and warm. I will mainly use them under an outer layer. I am 5'9" and 155lbs with a 31" inseam . They fit me perfect , I could wear them over a pair of pants with no long underwear on. The medium would be a better fit if I wanted to use as a top layer over more clothes , My plan is to use them as an insulation layer under bibs or my artic whites pant

Bought this for the purposes for cold temperatures in Iceland when stationary - it turned out with the side zippers to allow ventillation it was great for some limited mobility as well. It was perfect for all weather, from super cold and windy to wet and rainy. Really love the pants, easily able to throw on if I felt like there was a need and able to pair with suspenders. Not afraid of the cold anymore!
