Warm and Dry

this parka is one of the best investments I have made with COTS equipment. it is as warm as a standard level 7 parka but offers the added protection of being water resistant. Once again, OR has exceeded the standard on cold weather equipment! This jacket is the perfect match for anyone spending time stationary in the cold and coupled with the pants is rated for the harshest climates. 10/10 recommend

This is the warmest jacket I’ve ever had. I’m a helicopter crew chief so I fly around in very cold windy rainy weather. Stands up to the wind and rain great and the insulation is top tier. Will definitely continue to buy and is without doubt worth the money.

Great tactical gear for hunting

Needed high quality Mil Spec gear for a winter hunting trip in Montana—specifically wanted a system to layer. OR tactical kit was perfect. I highly recommend OR and the Allies Colossus system -both jacket and zip off pants. Small details like lining around the hood collar, deep/fast interior pockets that could hold warming layers or water bottles-and a great low viz color way/finish.

Super Warm

This thing is excellent. My only complaint, which isn't really, it will trap heat. So it is definitely a stagnate garment. If you have to do light work, you will sweat.

The jacket is very warm while it stops the wind and rain. It is a bulky, but that is what I expect from a parka.

The jacket keeps you warm and very dry, but the outer shell material holds moisture and gets heavier. For the price I’d expect better performance but overall I love the jacket.

I'm 6' 220lb active duty stationed in Europe. this jacket is the only cold weather jacket you'll need. Fit on me is slightly large but gives me adequate mobility with maximum warmth. the DWR is awesome and keeps me dry in light rain. no pit zips but that's ok since I mainly use it for static comfort.
