Uncomfortable Boots

Worst Reebok boots I've ever owned. They are usually comfortable and lightweight, but not these side zip boots. (side zip is why why I bought them)

Great boots!

As someone who has a lot of feet and ankle issues, I spend more money on quality orthotics over the life of the boot than the boot itself. My first pair of Dauntless lasted almost two years of constant walking and always on my feet. These new ones feel great! Lightweight and VERY comfortable. Fit true to size, although the last ones did stretch out a bit over time. Very breathable for extreme Texas heat. No regrets, you will love them.

Solid, comfy boots at a value.

This is my 3rd pair of Dauntless boots that I've had over the last 4-5 years. My 1st pair was in the 8-inch version and I got about a year and a half of use out of those. My 2nd pair was in the 5-inch version, that I ordered by accident. Both boots fit great but I would prefer the 8-inch version because of the extra ankle protection. Both gave me about a year and a half to two years of daily use. They develop the usual tears along the fabric where the toe area bends and the sole will become unglued in about the same area, but after a solid year or so of daily use. The mesh does attract dirt but I've just thrown them in the washer, no problem. The mesh does allow water to get in so I would avoid standing water. The sole itself has held up over time though, and is worn but not so much after all the abuse.

We got these boots for our son for fire school. He likes them and the ease of being able to change out of them quickly for his overalls.

Not enough heel and foot support for hard surfaces

The boots wears great, however not enough support to the heel and toe. Extra insoles are highly recommended for foot patrol or long standing on hard surfaces.

Painful!

Have worn these for 2 weeks now. There is a seam right on your ankle that hurts like crazy. Feet and ankles are in pain when not wesring them. Not slip resistant. Hopefully i can return them to the galls store still...

These are very comfortable, right out of the box. I have two pair in different colors for duty and I like them so much that I ordered myself a third pair to wear off-duty!
