What's the definition of Leather?

I'm retired but was looking for something on the dressier side for my casual dress office gig. I was disappointed the moment I opened the box. Not the quality I expected after a career of wearing Rocky boots. They look like pleather. They squeaked when I walked in them. I'll give them a chance to break in, but I have a sneaking suspicion they'll be going in the clothing donation bin at the church by this time next week.

No, I do not recommend this product.

This particular pair of boots is not up to the quality I have come to expect from Rocky. The boots squeak when you walk. I will be returning them.

Overall disappointed with the quality of this boot, especially at the price point. The stitching, at the sole/toe, of both boots were loose & could be moved with my fingers. The sole trim on one boot did not line up & was very obviously off. These looked like "factory second" quality, not something I expected from a reputable name. I was looking to replace my Thorogood uniform chukkas, which are no longer made. I returned these immediately to find another option.

These are fantastic boots, esprecially if you want to resole for a more modern looking and proper built heritage boot. They run a bit narrow even in the wide size, but they are sized close to tennis shoe size. If you're a wide size, go either actual tennis shoe size or 1/2 size smaller. I went whole size smaller (like with most boots) in wide and they fit tight.

Bought these for work, I’m a salesman, I needed something that would look good in the office & handle working in the market. These failed on every level. The break in process was very long & painful. The insoles are garbage, I tried replacing them but you can’t because of the big hole in the heel these “special” insoles are designed specifically for this boot. Just about the time I got them broke in the padded uppers separated from the rest of the shoe. I lost track of time & didn’t get them returned within the year warranty.

No, I do not recommend this product.
