I am a repeat customer of this type of shoe because there are features that like. This shoe has the easy tighten laces that are very practical. It is largely comfortable after a few wearings. I'm not as pleased with it because the left shoe makes a flapping sound as I walk. The toe box is also not as comfortable. The shoes also have the same soles which wear down too fast, in my opinion.

I am thrilled with my new Solomons. The ample space in the toe box is very comfortable and the ankle and arch supports are ideal for spending lots of time wearing these on a daily basis.

I bought X Ultra 4 on sale and loved it so much that I bought my mom X Ultra 5 which she is very happy with!

The shoes are nice. Just big. Sure wish they came in Narrow! I’ve put powerstep insoles in them and still swim around in them. You’re not alone. I can’t find any weatherproof hiking shoes in AA. I would recommend only to people with wide feet

Some other reviewers were talking about a too tight opening, insole pain, tongue sliding down. First time I put them on, I experienced the same things however, with a little adjusting...open the mouth of the shoe wide, wear the correct socks (I wear a medium thickness sock with these) pull the tongue and don't 'tie' the shoe too tightly and all of these went away. A really comfortable shoe. Nothing is perfect so no 5. And I will return to see how long they last and to see if my plantar fasciitis flares after wearing them for awhile. Otherwise, I really like them!

Bought these for my wife and she says these are great shoes. They provide great stability and traction on different surfaces. The only complaint I would have is that the mesh screen allows for sand to fill up the shoes and get into that toe area.
