If you want tactical-grade, agile boots with solid traction, these are a top pick—just be prepared for some break-in and occasional replacement after 1–2 years.”

Great boots but...

I have a very high arch and I find it very difficult to get these boots on. I have decided I have to remove the factory laces and add my own to get a more comfortable fit. Just something to keep in mind if you have high arches. My options are limited as I need the wide fit.

Great boot, order a size up.

First time with a pair of Salomon boots, they are extremely well made and well designed. I only wish I'd gone a size up. They felt great when trying them on and walking around on the carpet but once I got out rucking, I found out they were a little too tight in the toe box width wise. For the shoe laces, I find I have to cinch them down and then knot them so they don't back off and loosen.
