For weather that is too hot for tactical pants, the 24-7 Series Simply Tactical Cargo Shorts offer functional utility with a lightweight design. The polyester/cotton ripstop material is durable enough for tactical operations, but also comfortable and nonrestrictive. The gusseted crotch is reinforced for stability and the elastic waistband flexes with you when bending, kneeling, running or performing strenuous actions. There are two front pockets with reinforced bridges at the bottom, specifically designed to secure a tactical knife. Two smaller pockets rest behind each cargo pocket, perfect for carrying a cell phone, extra mag or other accessory. These shorts are useful in the field, but can be worn in any situation that calls for hot-weather active wear.

Falling apart already

After receiving my purchase. The pants have a chemical smell so I washed the 2 pairs of shorts in cold water inside out and put in dryer low temp for 10 minutes. The black shorts are fine. The blue one belt loop fell off. Poor stitching. I haven’t even worn the short yet and already having problems.

Doesn't Compare to Original Tru-Spec.Only one fastener in front, a snap only, rather than a snap and button.Waste is tighter. Quality seems not as good.

OK but no fasteners on side pockets

Good material, comfortable fit. However. the patch pockets are a bit small and have NO fasteners ( buttons, zipper, or velcro) of any kind. Which sort of defeats the purpose of cargo shorts. Overall, these shorts are adequate but a bit disappointing in terms of utility.

I won't buy these again

These shorts are redesigned from earlier model. Waste is way narrower and side gusset is missing. I couldn't wear these even with a size much larger than normal. Too tight in butt.

i learned about Tru Spec from one of DOE Nuclear Weapons defender, it's their uniform. Fit and function is everything you want. EMS pants are popular with film crew.
