Great coat. The quality of this coat is great. As good as my NSN Govt issued parkas.

Warm and comfortable
Wry comfortable and good looking jacket. When paired with the zip in fleece lining it is warm. Only minor complaint is the very roomy chest pockets can be a little difficult to access as they are behind the flap on the main zipper.

Good shell

Good rain shell by itself. Good outside layer over other layers. A little noisy in the brush but will keep the trade since pretty durable and price alright if South Texas thorns do a number.

Ordered XL...a little big, but it allows layers underneath...rainproof and cuts the wind perfectly...definitely recommend it!!!

Great product! Bad service.

I love this jacket. I lost mine at a truck stop and had to reorder for this awesome jacket that keeps me dry in the wettest conditions. Reordered and was sent the wrong size. Had to send it back and was told to reorder and hope it doesn’t happen again. Yikes.

Size L, Long, Color Black

I've had this Jacket 5 few months now and throughly tested it throughout the U K winter months. My findings are as follows. Positives; It is absolutely waterproof and wind proof. The high collar is a plus on windy days. Lots of pockets in all the right places. Negatives. The main zipper is a big weak point. Mine became difficult to do up after 3 months of daily use due. Some of the bigger pockets have velcro closure. Some of the velcro tabs on my jacket had come unsewen after 3 months. If you decide to buy and zip in the optional fleece liner it renders the snow skirt unusable. I really wanted to like this jacket, but if they go bad after only 3 months I'd be buying one evey year ! If the manufacturer could use a YKK full length front Zipper I'd be willing o pay more and forgive the other shortfalls. With a decent zipper it would get 5 stars from me.

Runs large
Other viewers are correct - it does run large compared to my usual size - at least I have plenty of room for an insulated jacket & more. It is relatively light weight & very well made. You might need 1 size smaller than normal unless you are wearing a tac vest &/or thick insulated jacket under it

I have now worn the jacket several times in fairly good rains in both warm and cold conditions. So far so good as there was no rain seeping through the fabric. In warm conditions even with pit zips open it does get warm. But in colder and especially in windy conditions this jacket with only a flannel or wool shirt it’s is quite comfortable. Really blocks wind. If one adds a decent insulating layer (sweater or fleece) it’s good for cold windy rain. While I have no problem using the jacket in Atlanta, Excellent for this area. I wouldn’t rely on something like this in sub zero conditions. I grew up in Minneapolis and spent later years in Detroit and if you are expecting this to work in that cold you may want to rethink your decision. So far, good product. Would buy again if needed.
