Had to run a test order on this patrol cap. Unfortunately, the ones available at the military clothing sales have a thin brim that will crack in half if you look at it wrong. I am happy with this brand, as the brim is thick and may be bent for more proper fitting. Though I wish there was an option to have it customized.

Hat is good. I prefer it to fit more snug but I have a really small head and this is the smallest size the payroll cap comes in.

sizing is off

Overall, it is a good looking, well-made hat. HOWEVER, the 7 1/4, which is my normal size, was WAY too tight. Rather than return it and gamble on which size up might fit, I gave it to a female deputy as a Xmas present.

SMALLER than expected, I usually fit a 7 1/8, my options were, 7 or 7 1/4... 7 is tight, 7 1/4 is loose, but the 7 1/4 is wearable...
