Keep all your EDC gear, and more, handy and hidden whether you’re on the job or out for some R&R. Ideally suited for the Prepared Professional and featuring VaporCore mechanical stretch fabric in an athletic cut, the Cutback remains comfortable and flexible all day during any level of activity.

  • Stretch 6-ounce 48% cotton / 25 % 37.5 polyester / 27% T400 polyester blend twill
  • 9 pockets keep tools and essentials at the ready
  • Deep front pockets are made of soft highly-breathable mesh
  • Watch pocket in front right pocket
  • Both front pockets have pass-through slots for comms lead or a RATS tourniquet
  • Two side utility pockets and dual angled rear yoke pockets fit standard smart phones and rifle mags
  • Wallet traps in both rear pockets keep wallet or passport secure
  • 5 mini stash pockets let you pre-load key items from 1.75 to 2.25 inches long
  • Keyring and lanyard anchor point in both front pockets

1. Waist

Measure around waist, where you normally wear your pants. Measure over shirt, but not over slacks or belt.

2. Hip

Measure at the fullest part of your hips. Make sure tape is comfortable and not too tight.

3. Inseam

Measure from the crotch along inseam leg to desired length. (Wear the shoes you intend to wear the pants with.) If you have a similar pair of well-fitting pants, lay them flat, measure along inseam from crotch to bottom of hem.

This is probably my 7th pair of these pants. They hold up great and are designed great. These are a darker khaki then my others. I like the old color much better but still great pants and will continue to purchase them.

I love the pants. I wish the pocket on the right hamstring were deeper though. This is where I keep my cell phone and my Kuhls cover the entire phone. The Vertx covers only 1/2 the phone.

I bought these for outdoor work pants (farming). They are light, comfortable and have just enough stretch. I like the pocket configuration and the fact that they don't have the traditional cargo pant look. I can't yet speak to durability, but the material seems like it would hold up a little better than the Delta Stretch LT pants that I bought at the same time (although the Delta Stretch LT material is a little softer and has more stretch). The legs are cut to work with slip-on boots, while the Delta Stretch LT are too tight in the ankles to wear with this type of boots.

Love them. Pockets for my tools and wallet too. Spring/Summer and fall. Winter? Pair with thermals and it's fine.

Excellent Pants

Like other vertx pants these are very comfortable and have an excellent pocket layout. The fit on the legs of the technical pant is noticeably tighter than the defiance jeans or delta stretch, but they still have room for you to move in them. These are a little noisy due to the material but it’s worth it because they dry so quick. You can get these pants soaking wet and it only takes about 20 minutes for them to dry almost completely. I have yet to be disappointed with any vertx pants.

I really like these pants,

I like these pants, I'm not a big fan of the customer service part. My mom bought a couple pair, and they were the wrong kind. She sent them back and still hasn't had her card reimbursed. I accidently ordered the wrong size,so I will be sending them back and reordering,so I can get the right size.
