Engineered to provide ultimate dexterity in tactical situations, the new Wiley X Aries Flight Gloves feature a unique Nomex/Kevlar weave material that lasts four to six times longer than traditional flight gloves. The thumb, index and middle fingertips have been removed to increase precision when operating machinery or handling a firearm. The fire-resistant material is tough and durable and will not wear down after extended periods of use. There is an adjustable cuff at the wrist for a customizable fit, and the gloves have been designed to match U.S. military uniforms. Built with military professionals in mind and NAVAIR approved, these gloves are tough and comfortable.

Way Too Small

Bought 4 different sizes for our group of pilots. Each of us were forced to go up 2 sizes (me from medium to XL) as each size runs VERY small compared to other brands offering sizes from S to XL. It's as if they are sized for women's hands.

Both Gloves popped the stitches going up the cuff, and their sizes run small.

Awesome if a bit snug

I love these gloves. I have worn them quite a bit since purchase. At first they seemed rather stiff and snug in places. The stiffness has gone away after breaking them in but the snugness seems to be a result of stitching not being uniform. The left middle finger cuff and the right thumb cuff are the tightest spots. As a whole the stitching seems somewhat haphazard and the gloves aren't 100% uniform. I bet if I bought multiple pairs they'd all fit differently. It's not unbearable, but a little uncomfortable with extended wearing and constant usage. I find if I push the half-finger stubs down they don't cut off the blood supply so much. Personally, I'd rather the finger sections have some stretchy material to accommodate those of us who don't fit neatly into the large or extra large category. I bought larges, and they for the most part fit fine if snugly, but had I gone extra-large then the gloves probably wouldn't fit nearly as well. Either way I'm happy with my purchase.

Based on the sizing chart I ordered Large.

However after receiving the gloves they were too small, I like the product just need to order XL.

Disappointed

I have owned Wiley X products in the past, and I expected much more out of this product. Given the price, I figured there would be some TLC in their manufacturing. However, the gloves are disproportional just as previous reviews have mentioned. One seam of the middle finger lands right on a knuckle and makes movement almost painful while the opposite finger is almost a half-inch shorter. The sizing of the product also seems off as I wear a size "8" in the standard-issue Nomex gloves and have a measured 8-inch hand based on the recommended measurements but the Wiley's seem to be a bit smaller.
